Default Exercise reduces homocysteine levels (relates to MTHFR)

I'm not claiming this is breaking news - the study was done in 2002. But I've never heard this. I like to comb the web now and then for motivation to keep up with my exercise and I came upon this study mentioned in a few places - this is just one place but it give the details pretty well.

A lot of us with repeat losses are told we have "MTHFR" as a possible cause. I have 2 copies of it. When I was dx'ed with that, I read that what *really* matters is your homocysteine levels. MTHFR maybe just makes it more likely your homocysteine levels are wonky, I don't know - but if you have high h. levels and don't test for MTHFR, it's still a risk factor. Ways to deal with this problem include folgard, which is a prescription b vitamin, baby aspirin, and sometimes injections of blood thinners. I took the folgard and BA...

Anyway - we all know exercise is good for us... but sometimes we need a little more motivation. I found this pretty interesting - perhaps more exercise can help with miscarriage.

Or perhaps it won't but if it motivates you to move more you'll still be benefitting in some areas.

This is an interesting article. I have heard as well that the homocysteine was the important thing monitor, but my sister's level was checked and it was normal. She still had eclampsia after having her baby, had multiple clots in the placenta, and went on to have multiple miscarriages. My homocysteine levels have never been checked. I am actually kind of scared to have them done. They might not prescribe the Lovenox anymore if they are normal!
