I go to yoga and pilates for 60 min. 2-3x a week. I LOVE it!! I am 37w today and still going strong. I cannot do as much as I could before, but I just modify or take more breaks. I find that I have a lot of energy still and have not really gained a lot of nonbaby weight. I have gained 38 pounds still but it is in my belly and well a little in the butt and thighs To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. I used to work out everyday on the treadmill for 20-30minutes. I found out at 4weeks pregnant during an ultrsound I had a subchorionic hematoma which is a blood clot between the uterus and the membranes. I was then cut off from my treadmill. :-( I finally got the okay now that I am 11 weeks to work out but with stipulations! My heart rate has to stay below 140 and watch for any cramping, oh and drink a lot or water!!
I walk, swim, and do low-impact aerobics - I'll be 39 weeks on Monday. I'm slower, but I still do almost everything (including some strength training). Everyone tells me I'll be so happy I kept with it. I just know that it makes me feel better, physically, to workout. I am less sore/achy when I exercise.

I get on the elliptical or stationary bike most days for 30-45 minutes, and in the evenings DH and I will take walks for about the same amount of time. And I'll lift some free weights at home. My doctor said as long as I stop when I feel like I'm overdoing it it should be fine. I plan to keep doing as much as I can for as long as I can; I get really cranky when I don't exercise.
I was exercising regularly prior to my BFP. In fact, I went for a trail run the day I found out. Now, I have no energy. After a day at work, I have no drive to exercise. All I want to do is rest. For those of you who are working out regularly, did you feel like me in your 1st trimester. Did it get better?

I do Super Slow two times a week which is a program where you lift fairly heavy weights very slowly on different machines for 2-3 minutes each. After I got pregnant, I talked to my RE who said the program was fine since it's low impact as long as I reduce my weights. I am now at 12 weeks and have put on about 3 lbs which I swear all went to my breasts!
Madsmommy, I felt very tired at first and stopped exercising during weeks 5 and 6. Then I forced myself to get back into the routine and found that it helped me have more energy. My RE and OB have both told me that exercising helps fight the first trimester fatigue.
I didn't workout during my first trimester. Well, I did until 8 weeks and then stopped due to ms until about 13 weeks. Do what you need to do. I know some people say it makes them feel better to workout. For me, exercise made the ms worse. Obviously, you want to start slowly when you do exercise again. You will know when you are ready to get going...
