Experience w/Palo Alto doctors?

Has anyone seen any of the repro endo doctors at the IPA MG of Santa Clara county at 540 University Ave in Palo Alto or doctors at the Stanford University Clinic?

I was recommend to Dr. Smikle in Fremont but he doesn't accept my insurance.

Should I make an appointment with a Reproductive Endocrinologist or should I find a Fertility specialists?
I really am not looking forward to all the testing and trying different types of drugs with yet another doctor. I'm gonna be 35 next month, and I'm currently on metformin. I've been thru the rounds of clomid/provera.
