Question Experiences with GentleLase or Estelux ILP???

The office I am going to have a consult with uses these two methods. Does anyone have an experiences (good OR bad) or advice??? I would really appreciate it! I have read that GentleLase is better than some others at removing lighter hair...is this true? I have mostly very dark, some medium brown, and some light brown hair. I have fair-medium skin.

Default exp with Estelux

I tried the Palomar Estelux IPL and had minimal results. (I had 10+ sessions with an experienced practitioner) I have reddish-brown hair and very fair skin.
Now I am doing the Lightsheer Diode laser and it's great-- huge difference. I also found a practitioner that does both laser and electrolysis, so she gets the red and blond hairs with electrolysis. I have had only 3 treatments with the laser and the dark hair is gone. Now it's just a few red ones and blonde ones. I think everyone is different and what works for one person might not work for the next. After having done the Estelux for so long with poor results, I would say try the one where you trust the operator more, but if you don't get results, move on. Just my 2 cents. Best of luck with your choice.

Thank you so much for responding! I think I had read somewhere that a lot of people have better results with laser vs. ILP. Definitely something for me to think about.

GentleLase was for me: 8 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart, and lasted 5 years with face completely free from hair.

That is awesome! Thank you so much for responding. It makes me feel a lot better to hear success stories about Gentlelase.
