An Experiment!!! Having to do with that darn dark ring!!
So, I was bleaching my arms today with Joleen Bleach. I must have made it a tad strong because it bleached my already glow in the dark skin. So, I put it on the dark ring around my neck. We shall see if it works....
and...it doesnt! It burns it. Don't do it! lol

It made it red...so I ran through the house looking for hydrocortisone cream but I haven't looked at it since!! I am a wee nervous to look!! haahaha...gah the things I do in the name of love! See as I figured it if it bleached my arm skin it would do the same for my neck. Alas, it didn't work cause it hurt to bad to leave it on long enough...lol.

I actually tried this once with Sally Hanson bleach (I think that's the name of it, I got it from Walmart) It didn't burn and it did lighten it!

I just tried it the other day under my arms on the dark spots (I don't have the neck ring), and it just burned and made them so red that I couldn't keep using it. I think it was an allergic reaction.
Although today I was wondering if it would work long term, and I was tempted to try it again! Ugh - we ARE crazy!

Hehee! You girls are nuts! I did have a bad run-in with some hair remover that kept me home from school for a couple of days! I guess we're all desperate!
Ya, this sounds about right. PCOS women will try anything once (or twice). I don't have issues with these dark patches, but this is a good heads up to other cysters.

Yup, I've done dumb stuff to get rid of the dark ring on the back of my neck, as well as the darkness under my arms... my mom used to tell me to wash better, kept telling me they were dirty.... so on more than one occasion they were rubber scrubbed raw, and just a bit ago I actually took a scrubby sponge (for dishes) to my armpits to try to get rid of it... this was before reading the information on here about it being part of PCOS...
