I nursed and pumped for a year after his birth and for my period on my own on his first birthday, about 3 weeks after I stopped pumping (although I still nurse twice a day). I haven't gotten a second period yet, so I don't know if I am cycling or if the period I got was a fluke. Prior to my son's birth I got my period about 3 times a year on my own. I am wondering what people's experience has been with cycles post birth and getting pregnant without treatments. If you starting cycling, was your period very regular or still irregular?

I have talked with my Dr quite a bit about a VBAC, and she thinks I am a very good candidate for a VBAC (which is what I prefer), and she is very supportive, as is the hospital I am going to. I am looking for any stories you ladies might have! We are still scheduling a repeat c-section at 39 weeks in case I back out, or something happens in the mean time. I had a c-section due to failure to progress, they believe that either a) my uterus failed due to too much PTL or b) The hospital administered the epi too soon. I was at 6cm, but my contractions had slowed (which they knew about), and they started the epi before starting the pitocin. TIA!!

I'm not obsessing like I was the first 1-3 months... but I still think about getting pregnant... We're at try #7 now after 6 rounds of clomid and iui's ... now beginning injectables... So I'm wondering did all of you actually manage to stop thinking about it, or in our case is it ok to think about it and it'll still work...

Having me come back in for blood work on Thursday morning to see if the numbers double, as she said it could also be a sign of late implantation.

It’s amazing how you can go from the high of a positive hpt (first one EVER) to a ball of nerves in one day. Has anyone had this low of a number and still had a successful pregnancy? Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have noticed that my nipples have gotten so soft and flat which they never were before. I really want to breastfeed so I am wondering if this change is just a normal thing that happens to many women or should I have my doc check for flat/inverted nipples.

Since then we just haven't tried, plus I didn't ovulate on my own, I'd have to take pills for that. Anyway about a month ago I changed the way I ate and started working out, trying to get healthy and in shape. Af didn't show when she was supposed to last month but I read a change in diet and exercise can kinda change it so I didn't think anything more about it. I'm 20 days late so I decided to test just in case, and got what looks like a BFP. Now my question is can there be a false positive? Should I take another brand of test?
