The brown spots aren't velvetty. It appears in my legs and arms and they are very light brown patches - my skin looks uneven from a distance and appears like brown patch upclose.

My friend got some facials and the cream that the salon used removed a lot of her similar scarring - her skin looks brighter! They don't offer those kinds of treatments in my area though and you can't buy the cream from the salon - it's for professional use only (the skin peels etc so fair enough).

Can anyone recommend some skin lightening/whitening cream to help fade these kinds of spots? My skin would look almost clear if I could get rid of these.

I usually get cysts in my ear lobes and behind my ears. Apparently, my dad used to get them. My sister also gets them.

Then, I read a post on here about cystic acne. I looked it up and I discovered that I definitely have cystic acne. I don't have it as bad as some of the pictures on google, but it hurts like a mofo.
