New to this so hope this posts.

I am in the Denver area and my husband and I are looking into IVF. I had a tubal libation done in 2003 after some testing revealed problems. Testing also revealed PCOS.

So...today we are sitting in shock of the cost of IVF. We would be willing to travel within reason for a IVF clinic that wasn't $30,000 (Denver average).

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Not looking to have to fly across the country but willing to drive a state or 2 if needed.

God Bless,
Kerry

Hi all, I tried the doctor finder listed in this forum and it either is no longer working, or doesn't work with apple computers. I'm looking for somebody in Phoenix, AZ.

I'm not big on taking prescription meds, so if it's a doctor that is open to treating naturally and either has knowledge to do so or is open minded to working with me on that, so much the better. But to start, I'd settle for anybody who just knows what they are doing.

Thank you.

Looking for a PCOS-friendly OB/GYN (not RE) in Philly suburbs - Bux/Mont Counties

Hey, everyone, I'm looking for an OB/GYN. I have a great RE already but I was told once I am 10 weeks pregnant I will need to switch back to OB/GYN. I don't care for mine as she was not supportive at all every time I brought up the possibility of PCOS. I had to have a dermatologist be the one that helped me and then my RE. So...does anyone have any OB/GYNs in the Philly suburbs they can recommend? I need one for after I'm pregnant (thinking positively it will happen next year!) and for PAPs, etc. after that.

Thanks!

This is probably an odd question, but it seems like no one really knows all that much about PCOS. Are there actual PCOS specialists? If so, where can you find them? I don't even know if I could go to one because I have no insurance and have to pay out of pocket, but I'd be curious to see what a "specialist" might have to say regarding treatments for the various aspects of PCOS. I'd ideally like to find out about any and all specialists if there actually are any, not just ones in my own state (NY). If any of you know of any resources or online sites with doctors who are reputed to know the most about PCOS, I would so appreciate it if you could post that info here. Thanks so much. :) Have a great day.
