Right now, I don't take anything since I'm pregnant (I wish I could cause it's bad right now). In the past, I've used BCP and spirolactone. I think the spiro helped a lot and can't wait to get back on it. I think it took 6 months of the spiro to start working, and I had been taking it for many years probably at least 5. I'm also thinking of trying this Yaz stuff since it has the spiro-like drug in it already.

I'm on the Yaz right now. Read up on the side effects first. I'm questioning it now. I've only been on it about 5 days (trying to regualate so we can TTC), so I can't really state what symptoms/side effects I'm having, but I did a lot of looking into what others experienced. Just Google Yaz side effects and you'll find all kinds of chat forums and such. The side effects some state are beyond scary!

I'm sticking with it because as of now I'm just trying this for 2 months, then back to TTC (praying I don't have to take this longer than 2 months). So anyway, I'd check into it before you start it.

I need something for the hair though for sure. Spiro seems to work? Any side effects w/ that?

The only side effect I had with spiro was getting dehydrated sometimes and in turn dizzy. I just had to drink more water to keep that from happening.
