Red face Extreme Fatigue

I was just wondering if anyone else is always extremely tired? I can't figure out if I'm more tired now than I was before, but I've been on met for about a month and it's all I can do to stay awake. I fall asleep sitting up sometimes, the other night I laid on my bed for a minute and I was asleep by 6 or 630 that night and slept through till the next morning.
It could be cause I'm working a lot (about 60 hrs a week) and there's a lot of stressful changes in my life at the moment, but I don't know. I'm just always tired.
I really don't feel like going back to the doctor for them to tell me again they don't know what's wrong and order more bloodwork...
I figure if I ate healthier and exercised I might have more energy but the thing is, I'm never that hungry and when I am I usually eat healthy things. And I'm so worn out all the time I can't make myself exercise.
I don't know! Just wondering if it could be another side effect of the met...?

You'll need coffee shops and sunsets and road trips. Airplanes and passports and new songs and old songs, but people more than anything else. You will need other people and you will need to be that other person to someone else; a living breathing screaming invitation to believe better things.

I was wondering the same thing. I've only been on Met for exactly a week. Everyone I've read said they feel better, with more energy. I still feel pretty tired, though, and actually, everyone at work keeps asking me if I'm okay and what's wrong with me. They've said I seem a little more irritated. Any one else having this problem? Does it subside?

Met doesn't make me tired if I eat right while taking it. I am extremly tired and weak during the week of AF, but that is about it.

I've been taking met for about three weeks and I'm always tired and never hungry. I stopped taking it about two days ago and I feel much much better.

Yeah I'm exhausted. My work schedule has cut down a bit (I used to work about 60 hours a week) but now with LESS work I'm MORE tired. I don't understand.
I am just always completely worn out and tired. I yawn all day, sometimes fall asleep in the afternoon, and I sleep all night. So I don't really know what's going on

I just started taking met extended release 2 days ago - right now I am only on one pill a day and I usually take it relatively close to bed. I am moving up to 2 next week, then 3 total. Ive noticed around the first hour after I take it, I am very tired, but the rest of the day I think I have more energy. Wondering what will happen when I increase the dosage, especially if I take one in the middle of my work day.

I've been on metformin for about a year and I'm still fatigued. Come Wed, and I'm exhausted. I've been doing some research and it's most likely the Insulin Resistance making us tired, our bodies aren't releasing the necessary foods we digest for energy. I have a doc appt this week and hoping to get that question answered. I'm looking for something other than metformin b/c I'm not looking to get pregnant, just shed this weight and get back to being active like I once was.
