Default Extremely High Testosterone Levels...

My endo just ran a metabolic blood workup. My overall testosterone level came back at 259 ng/dl and my free testosterone came back at 18.9 ng/dl. She also ordered a pelvic ultrasound which I had on Monday of this week. I am still waiting on the results. I have also been experiencing some mild pelvic pain. After reading on the internet I am scared to death that it is an ovarian tumor or an adrenal tumor. Has anyone else had levels this high? If so, what was the outcome?

The ultrasound tech said the presence of polycystic ovaries was very impressive...more cysts than she had ever seen. I've known I had PCOS for about 9 years.

I wanted to bump this up for you so maybe someone who has had that high of numbers will see it. My overall was over 100, and they have not done anything to help it except for the metformin which I could not stand.

Please post if you have an answer for it. I hope it's nothing. I had the pelvic pain when my cysts were flared, but it did not last long.

My testosterone was at 90 and i am on met 2000 mg and spiro 100mg and Yasmin . I am hoping my testosterone is lower now but have not had it tested again. I am suprised that with testosterone over 100 all they have someone on is met and nothing else. And for the poster with testosterone over 200 that scares me to , i hope the doctor gets going with some serious treatment for you and figures out how to fix that.
