Thumbs up Eye twitch cured!

I mantioned a while back, somewhere, that I had a terrible twitch in my eye, and that I was starting to take magnesium for it as I had read that magnesium deficiency leads to muscle twitches. Well, it worked! In fact, it worked so well that I had forgotten about it until a few days ago, when I remembered that I ought to let those of you with similar problems know.

i was actually taking a hormone balancing supplement with magnesium and zinc (by seven seas, for those that can get it).

hope this is of use to someone!

lol

Who would have thought that a little magnesium could cure that eye twitch? I am glad that you posted this! Good information!

Although I am not presently bothered by this, I have been in the past and I will remember your advice.
Glad it took the twitch away...those twitches can sure be maddening!

Cool! I've had bouts of these in the past that lasted FOREVER!
Oddy enough haven't had one in a long time, until earlier today, luckily it was very short-lived, but it was very strange to see this post today. Good advise, thank you.

Default magnesium and eye twitching connected?

I know this was posted quite some time ago...but I was reading through the archives and couldn't resist asking a question regarding eye twitches and magnesium.

I took magnesium for about a week before my aunt (a nurse practioner) told me to stop taking it until she could get a look at my bloodwork. She said she didn't want me taking too much of it. But since that time, my right eye has developed a weird twitching thing....kind of like it's swolen on the bottom or that it's making small movements, but nothing looks physically wrong with the eye.

My question is...could my taking magnesium then stopping have somehow triggered lower mag levels than before, thus causing a twitch? I know it's "out there"...but I was struck with the connection!

Anyone know?
