When I was on yasmin, my eyes dried out and my vision changed back and forth so badly my eye doctor couldn't write a prescription for me. I read the info that comes with the pills, and it said if anything like that happens, you need to see your doctor ASAP. Something about changing of the blood vessels in your eyes. All my doctors wanted me to get off yasmin because I was having several issues (not just with my eyes) that pointed to issues that could lead to a stroke.
I did have to give up my contacts until my hormones became my stable. I just started seeing a new eye doctor, and while I'm not on any bcp (obviously), he said my new prescription isn't too far off from my old glasses, so I hope that means everything is okay. My eyes were still dry, so he plugged up one of the holes in my tear ducts, and my eyes don't seem as dry anymore. I haven't gotten my new glasses and contacts yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be okay.
