Default Face peeling

I was wondering if anyone has this problem, and what can be recommended for it.
I'm 27, and my face breaks out like I'm in high school. Instead of my face being oily it is extra dry. I use Oil of Olay Foaming face wash at night to wash it, Oil of Olay moisturizer, and I exfoliate it in the morning. But my whole face peels everyday. It drives me crazy, it is so embarassing. It is especially bad on my nose. My forhead, and chin also peel as well. I don't overclean my face in order for it to dry it out. And I use face moisturizer 2ce a day. It's like my face is peeling from a sunburn everyday.
Any suggestions? Not only do I have to worry about my face breaking out, hair growing on my upper lip and chin, but also the peeling. :o

Take care,
Ericka

My aesthetician suggested using sugar to exfoliate the dead skin. It's a natural hydrator and it draws in moisture. It may be worth a try.

Does it itch as well? I myself have not experianced skin peeling but my fiance has something very similar on his hands. (i only get crusty in the winter, damn my irish skin) They just peel of like gloves. His doc said it was a form of excema but I'm not so sure. I would see a dermatologist about the peeling. He/she could give you advice to stop to peeling. Maybe your exfoliating too much, or are you using a salycitc acid product? I hope you get it resolved, keep up posted!

It could possibly be an allergic reaction (or hormonal reaction) to the products you use to clean and moisturize with. After a while I can't use products I have been using becuase they end up breaking me out or I end up with peeling skin. I can't wear my wedding rings or engagement ring anymore bc my skin peels. My nose tends to peel all the time. The only instnace where it doesn't peel is with my makeup. weird huh?
