Default Face Wash

What type of face wash does everyone use? For a while I was using prescription Brevoxyl face wash 4% benzol peroxide (which gave me whiteheads) but recently switched to Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (which im not a big fan of because I feel after a week of using it, i get red pimples). What does everyone use?

I use Shiseido Oily Skin Foam Wash. It comes in a blue bottle and you can mainly get it at department stores. I buy it from Macy's.
I don't have too bad acne right now. but I love how this wash foams and I just massage it on my face for a full minute in the morning and it leaves my skin feeling great. I have tried so many other face washes and nothing compares to this one.

If your acne is really bad, I would reccomend DDF. It's comes in a glycerine face wash and toner. I used to use it when my acne was quite bad. I really liked this product and am out of it now, but I will ordering some soon. I used to use it every evening (even though the Sheisedo beautician told me to use it twice a day) and my skin felt like I was giving it a facial every day.

I highly recommend both of these products. The only place I can think to buy DDF is the internet. but can definitely get the Shiseido face wash at any department store (most likely macy's)

I use apricot scrub sometimes mixed with something from BeautiControl.
Nothing works on my skin tho. NOTH-ING.
I've had acne since I was 10 and I have tried everything you can think of.
It doesn't work.
I've accepted defeat and realized I will just be one of those people who alwas has it.

Would you believe I even went to beauty school and earned one of several degrees, one of which was to be a skin Esthetician.

I know how to make other peoples skin pretty but not my own. Nice huh?

I use proactive, I only use a little bit so the bottles last me a pretty long time. I still have some red marks on my cheeks from several months ago, but they are slowly fading, and I am getter fewer breakouts than before I started using it.

I use an incredibly harsh scrub called Pernox (hard to find, you can get it online though). When my skin got better from Spiro, I stopped using it, but my pores got clogged all over again, and when I went back to it, my skin cleared. I alternate it with Murad face wash, but I don't think the face wash is that important, the key is exfoliation in my opinion.

I use CETAPHIL- daily cleanser.. and Biore pore ungloggins srub. Is not as bad like back in 2008, so I just decided not to used anything else.
Products I used in the past that claimed to fix the problem:
-Clinique, Pevonia, Dermalogica... agrrr so many things.

Well I also was taking med the doc recommended..
Godo facials do some help too.

I've been using one that I bought from Avon. It's a double bottle- one side has a night time wash in it and the other side has one for the morning. It's been working really well and it's very gentle. I think I will order some more.

If you'd like to try something natural, I use a full-fat plain yogurt on occassion, and I love it. It takes care of my blackheads, and it's quite refreshing. I scrub it in like an exfoliant and rinse.

I use the Clinique 3 Step system, and love it! I usually only use the cleanser in the shower and moisturize when I get out, then wash my face off with a hot washcloth before bed (I rarely wear makeup, but when I do I use the cleanser and/or eye makeup remover). When I do have a breakout, I add the toner in the mix.

i use the neutrogena stress free acne wash..its great...i used it after i was diagnosed and was putting on the topical cream benzaclin..but it doesnt suit everyone--one of my friends had oily skin and she got super dry..i had normal and i got all red and peeled everywhere but eventually my skin got used to it and it works..i only had one bottle of it and im still one it (over a year) its expensive but i think its worth it! talk with your doctor and see what they say!

I highly recommend Kiss My Face Potent & Pure(formerly called Obsessively Organic) line up. I've been using these for about 2 years now...and when I use them on a regular basis I have WONDERFUL skin. I LOVE the soy facial bar. I use it with a loofah facial scrubber and it takes care of my black head issue. I normally am very oily, but find when I use the soy bar regularly I'm less oily. I try to alternate the soy bar and the exfoliating gel cleanser, using one in the morning and one at night...when I remember. My line is: cleanser, toner, ester C gel, Cellmate 15spf moisturizer. I use the pore shrinker mask once every couple of weeks.

It is on the spendy side, and I just about died when I saw how tiny the bottles were, BUT they last a long time. I'm still using my orginal toner and ester C serum. And I'm only on my 3rd bar of the shea soy. I think I've gone thorugh about 6 of the moisturizers...but really in 2 years that isn't too bad.

My orginal set up when I got everything at once was about $95 for 7 products.

I'm HORRIBLE about skin care. One of my goals this year is to get into a better routine with my skincare!
