Did anyone try the 3-in-1 from Garnier Pure line? I just bought it a week ago and my skin seems to be purging...but I don't wanna go through a purging period if I'm not gonna get better skin :/

I use Aveeno Clear Complexion Bar and St. Ives Apricot scrub, the bar in the am and the bar and scrub in the pm and Olay or Avon moisturizers (depending on what's in reach!) I moisturize twice a day. I was told that the more you strip your face, the more it tries to moisturize itself, then problems happen, but I also think that the hormonal aspect can't be ignored, cause if the problem is internal, no mater what you put on your face, it's not gonna help.

I don't know if this stuff is the Garnier that comes in the blue color range? If so, I tried the Garnier cleanser recmmnded by them for acne prone skin, it was horrid! My skin just constantly broke out.

Domino...my experience was that Garnier cleanser did nothing but break me out. I used it for 6 weeks hoping that it was just a purge (I wanted to give it enough time to work). I also felt like I wanted to use the whole bottle as I did pay for it after all, but close to the end I just threw it out, it really did NADA for me, but just broke me out. Lucky it wasn't too expensive, so I dropped it and got the La Roche Effaclar gel cleanser, for me, it has been very good (but it's also quite strong smelling).

I use Cetaphil Antibacterial Dry Skin Bar Soap and I follow up with Sea Breeze. We are wanting to TTC, so I don't use anything with salicylic acid. With the Sea Breeze, I keep using it until there's no more dirt or oil on the cotton facial pads. I have a friend that's a retired bikini model and she uses that.
Also a good face wash is Dr. Broners Tea Tree Oil Castile Soap (liquid)
It's organic and the tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic.
Clinique used to work for me. They have a great acne line, but it changed the texture of my skin.

I stopped using it and my skin cleared up immediately. Looks like I'll be using my homemade milk&oats cleanser for some time. Thank you

I switch it up every time I buy something new. I do like the neutrogena anti-stress toner, use that morning & night & it doesnt dry my face out. I always get a different cleaner, the creamy ones (like noxzema) always make me break out/turn up the oil dial so I almost always get an exfoliating one. I'm in the same boat as one of the pp - NOTHING has ever worked for me. Some work better than others, but I have never had clear skin. My mom is almost 60 & still has constant breakouts!!
