facial hair

i have thick tough facial hair and all my doctor gives me is dianette and it hasnt made the slightest bit of difference...she told me to lose weight..i lost 5 and a half stone and still its as bad as before....is there anything i can do or take to get rid of this..its becoming a real problem now as the hairs are becoming black and its soon going to look like i have stubble like a man...please help me

How long have you been taking the dinette? I don't know much about dinette, but I am taking Yasmin and Spironolactone. Both of these take a while before you actually see any results. I think when my doctor gave them to me, she said it would be about 3 months. Yasmin is a birth control that has helped me with facial hair and acne. Spironolactone is a diaretic (sp) which helps with facial hair. If you haven't been on the dinette very long, I would give it a little more time. If you have been on it for a while, I would ask for something different.

also spiro helped me and I also get electrolysis which made a huge difference it takes time but its all worth it...i know how you feel but it will soon get better when you find what works for you.

I wasn't offered any medication for hair loss on my face, and it may seem a bit silly, but theres this item called Smooth Away, which you rub on your face and it gets rid of the hairs. I swear by it. It's a pain to keep doing it, and I'm sure if you could get medication that helped it would be a lot easier, but look it up, it doesn't hurt, and its easy enough to do. Good luck! x

keep going w the meds., before expecting any results w mechanical techniques. i swear by vaniqa. but u have to use it forever.
