Default Facial Hair Improvements: From Dark to Light?

I'm definitely seeing some improvements in my facial hair due to lifestyle changes and Chinese medicine. When PCOS was at its worst, I would get about 15 dark coarse hairs on the right-side of my chin and jaw. These hairs are growing slower... but still growing. I pluck 4-5 of them about every other day.

BUT, I've noticed that although these hairs are still coarse, they are getting lighter in color. Does this mean they will gradually get less coarse and return to "normal"? Has anyone seen improvements like this and now has no coarse hair at all? I'm sooo tired of plucking.

I bought a Silk-Epil made by Braun, it looks like an electric razor, but it's got a bunch of tweezers on it. I had dark coarse hair under my chin and neck that was really bad. Since I've started using it, the hair is growing in white and is less coarse, with the exception of few. But I only have to use it about every other week! I love this thing!!!

Before anybody told me I shouldn't shave, I was was shaving EVERY DAY. So, having to use the Silk-Epil every other week is a dream come true for me. No, stubbles, no dark hair, just finally smooth skin!

I heard it was very expensive. I heard a quote of $75.00 to purchase it at Target or something. I'd be interested in this because I've heard great things, but pulling that kind of money out of my pocket better be worth it!

Question

Which Braun Silk Epil model did you purchase? I researched the Silk Epil on the internet and the prices range from about $75 to $140. Do you use a special facial attachment? Some models come with this special attachment.
