Plucking, waxing, threading, using epilators etc. are all very traumatic to sensitive skin, especially if the hair is in any way coarse.
The trouble is that most of the alternatives are hard on the skin as well. Depilatories strong enough to destroy hair are almost bound to damage sensitive skin.
September is far too close to expect Vaniqa to have any marked effect, though it might be some help to you in slowing down the growth.
If your skin is sensitive, I suggest you get a men's-type Norelco electric razor as the least bad of the options available. At least they're reasonably quiet if you have to shave in a washroom.
