Default Facial soap

Whats a good facial soap to use to dry your pores? I have oily skin and would love to find something that will dry them out but not leave my face looking ashy.

Cetaphil for normal to oily skin, works excellent without drying your skin.

I agree! I love cetaphil. Even used it as a child.

My dermatologist recommended Neutrogena when I was teenager!

I thought that Purpose soap in the bar form was gentle but more drying. It was recommended by my dermo. I use the liquid form now because my face is a bit dry.

My dermatologist told me just to use dove. It takes a week or two to adjust to a new face cleaner I think. Dove doesn't strip it down too much so your skin gets dry at least. It's been working well for me, I had always used Noxema before that, but it dried me out too much. I do miss the tingle though!
