I will be tested for this clotting disorder this week. It is genetic and my oldest sis, also a cyster, has nearly died form blood clots in her lungs. It was just a few months ago she was positively dx'd with this. My dad also had DVT and phlebitis.
I have read it can affect fertility and staying pg. Just what I needed, another obstacle. I can only hope I do not test positive and that when I do ttc, I will be lucky enough to succeed.
Just curious if anyone else has been affected by this and their outcomes. Thanks!

I was tested for this disorder years ago after my Mother had a stroke and someone told me that if i have a history on the female side of my family i should get tested. My doctor ran all the blood tests (trust me it was alot) and only one thing came back slightly abnormal (i never saw the blood work) and so she had me repeat the test and the 2nd time it came back normal. So have hope.
