My name is Jamie - I'm 31 years old, married and TTC. I share my life with my wonderful husband and two West Highland White Terriers. I was diagnosed with PCOS in July of 2007. What brought me into the doctors was to find out why I hadn't had my period in two months, took several pregnancy tests and they came up negative. My doctor did several runs of tests and found out with my elevated levels - I have PCOS.
Currently I am at 1,500 mg of Metformin and have used Provera 10 mg to get a cycle started.
I have been experiencing a lot of pelvic pains within the past month or so - its time to get back into the doctor and see whats going on.
Looking forward to getting to know more about all of you..
Jamie |

I've only been using the site a few days but there is so much information on here. Whatever your experiencing there is someone who has the same and can share it with you. I also am TTC and am on the same drugs you are. I get a lot of pain. Like cramping but sometimes more isolated and painful. I was told the pain was bursting of the cysts. As awful as it sounds I have come to live with it. I do feel like I take a lot of painkillers. It is also bad when your TTC the pains you experience always make you question whats happening, adding to your worry. It would be worth describing what you feel to your doctor (I should take my own advice) but there are lots of friendly people on here with so much good advice. Good Luck & let us know how you go x |
