Unhappy Fake Pregnancies

So every 6 months or so my body loves to tease me and screw with me.
My boobs hurt, I pee frequently, i get EXHAUSTED, I cry heaps, i get funny pains in my lower abdomen.. and this time.. My boobs even grew!

I even have dreams about being pregnant at the time this is happening!

So many things happen that it just sounds like I am pregnant! I should know better by now, but it happens so much i test every time!

And every time it is negative :\
Now, I am not financially stable enough to have children yet, but I wish it was positive just so i know SOMETHING is actually happening with me!

I am driving my Boyfriend crazy with my pseudo pregnancies!

I've put it down to my hormones going a bit silly, but it is such a nasty thing to do, considering my fears of infertility!

Does anyone else go through this? Or is there something wrong with me deeply lol.

I am going crazy having to go through this, it's so ridiculous!

I go through this sometimes........It's very hard! I know! Quite a few years ago was the worst. My boobs were so sore, I couldn't even sleep on my stomach, I cried at everything, had food cravings.........
I have not gone through it in a while, and I hope I'm not going through it now......I am going to test when I get some guts!

Are you on BCP? I know when I went on the NouvaRing the fake pregnancy quit, but, the ring also burned my cervix!

See what happens. I found the older i got, the less it happened. I think the last time it happened was about 4 or 5 years ago......

Hi, this is my first post on here, but I've been lurking for awhile. What you've described has happened to me a few times. In fact, this past couple of months has been a real roller-coaster. I had all the symptoms, but no baby. Is your period delayed too? Mine was over 3 mos late. Just today I started a full range of tests, blood, urine, x-rays, ultra sounds, etc to figure out what's going on. The pelvic pain and cramping has been fairly consistent for 3 mos now. I had the breast tenderness too.

I know what you're going through! I hope you can get answers as to what's going on.

Thanks Nik! Lemme know how your results are too! My period is MIA because i'm back on my pill lol, I'll only give myself a period every 4-5 months, I get anxiety about leaking in public :\

This has happened to me numerous times and I always thought I was crazy.

The only time I didn't go through crazy preggo symptoms is when I got 2 positive Clearblue +/- HPTs. I couldn't believe it at all (since I had been sexually active at the time).

Well after two weeks with my period being a no show I went to take a blood test and it was negative. The gyn I went to gave me a urine test and it was negative too. She had no explanations for me as to why I received two positive tests and basically chalked it up to me reading the results wrong (2 in a row?).

This happened back in December 2008 and I haven't had a period since November 2008. Every pee test since has been negative with no bleeding. They won't give me an ultrasound so I've got no answers as to what's going on.

I'm just praying I get my period and this whole thing will end.

This happens to me sometimes. Which is so annoying expecially when I haven't been sexually active at all for months or longer and suddenly I feel pregnant.

The mind is a powerful thing, isn't it? I feel that we just want to be pregnant so badly that we tend to start to "feel" that we are - often times, I think we may even make up the symptoms, or at least exaggerate them a bit...

I get like this a little bit. This month was somewhat like that only because I had gotten symptoms that I'd never had before (or maybe I'd never noticed them before, really). But I always know in my soul that if I tested it'd be a BFN. I just feel that I'd know if I really were...like REALLY know for sure.

You know what's also funny. When I started questioning if I could be pregnant (this was a few years back before actually TTC), I'd take a test, get a BFN, and then AF would start that evening or the next day. It's weird how once you KNOW you're not, things start to happen naturally. Odd how we can modify our bodies like that.

If only we knew how to better channel our thinking to positive thoughts to aid in things like weight loss and overall healthfullness.

Yeah your right TheNewMrs, I think its alot to do with my mind personally, because after i took a test, it definatley calmed down, my boobs are still killing me, and my bladder is still weak, but no tummy issues anymore!

I didn't wanna be pregnant though.. yet lol

Tina - omg what a rollercoaster for you! *prayers to you AF will come*

Yeah I've been through this too. My boobs were killing me, I had the lower abdomine cramping, I would cry if DH just looked at me wrong, I was constantly craving some off the wall food that I normally wouldn't like at all! It sucked!!!

I guess there isn't much we can do about it other than hope that we actually have all of those symptoms for a legitimate reason!

Oh wow! This happened to me in the summer of 1996 and I just knew I was preggers. Went to the doctor and they looked at me like I was crazy! Told me to lay off the chocolate. I think it may have the bcp's that I was on as well.
