Default false pregnancy test with hcg shot

Has anyone gotten a false pregnancy from the hcg shot? I took an at home pregnancy test and it was positive. It was only 4 days after my iui and 6 days after the hcg shot. It was premature to take the test, I know. This 2ww is so hard.

I haven't personally, but I know a lot of people on this board have mentioned that they have. It is very early, still, don't give up hope. I would test in a few more days. Good luck to you!

Default fasle pregnancy test with hcg

I know...the 2ww is a killer! But after my hcg injection, I was told to wait at least 12-14 days before taking a hpt.
    Good luck!

I know of many women who get the HCG shot and then still take pg tests daily and get positives and wait to see a negative, so they know all the HCG is out of their system. Once it is negative, they start testing again to see if it turns positive. That way you know it's really a pregnancy, and not the trigger.I would definitely wait 10 or 11dpiui that way you know for sure.
