last night i was reading through an herb book by gaia herbs (i got this about 7 years ago, and while it's basically an advertisement for their product, there's a lot of good information on herbs) and was reading about helonias root (aka, false unicorn).
here's what the book says:
...promotes pelvic circulation and relieves pelvic congestion. by promoting better blood supply to the reptoructive organs, it facilitates improved viatlity to those tissues.
and
...is another reproductive remedy of renowned importantce. it is useful to promote pelvice circulation and to relieve pelvic congestion. it is an excellent uterine tonic that has been widely sued for painful and/or absent menstration.
so...have any of you tried this? what were your experiences? i saw a little chatter on here, but not much information or personal experiences.
