There is no one answer that anyone can give you since it will vary from woman to woman. Mainly because there are so many factors 'beyond' a pcos diagnosis that affect fertility.
Even without 'medical' intervention there is a LOT a woman can do to increase her chances of a) conception, and b) carrying to term.
Lifestyle changes are at the top of the list for increasing the likelihood of healthy pregnancy. Note: I do not necessarily mean 'weight loss'. In many cases, making significant changes in overall 'lifestyle' can restore reproductive healthy - even before significant (or any) 'weight' loss has occurred.

Wow - thanks for all the info, Kat! I just had a miscarriage July 6th and have been preparing for a FU with my RE to discuss the possible reasons why. I want to be well-armed with all the available information on recent studies and this will certainly help!

I read somewhere our miscarriage percentage is 45%!! I was so upset when I read that. I, unfortunately have severe PCOS. I am overweight and have had it with "waiting" to get pregnant until I "lose" weight! I am interested in reading the responses......however I have to post 10 times.....I shall be back to read up!
