When I was first 'diagnosed' I went through the whole battery of tests, the ultrasounds, etc. Even thought I have the weight issue, the hairyness issue, and tons of visible cysts on my ovaries, my fasting blood sugar test came back as 96. The doctors said, well, it's under 100 so you must be fine. They said, you probably have PCOS but just lose some weight and everything should regulate itself. In 11 years of having a period, it's never been regular. I got a second opinion, and sure enough, it's PCOS. I just wanted to let all of you who are new that pretty much everyone has a story like mine (some are much worse), but we're here for you!!

Mine is 92, and you can still benefit from metformin, it still helps all the other symptoms.
