It's much more pronounced now that I've had a child even though I now weight less than I did when I got pregnant... I'm hoping to get a tummy tuck after my next/last baby and REALLY was hoping that would take care of it...

It has never bothered me though. hubby says he did not think that it was fat. He said it does not matter to him. I have always thought that it was just normal. Men are different sizes and I guess we are too.

I also have some saggy skin there. It is like on the inner lips part. It bothers me and I was just wondering if anyone else had this.

My sister who was 220 had a chubby area as well. When she lost the weight (she got down to 115) it went away.
Mine was never like that until my weight ballooned.

Something like that is probably one of those things which no one but the person who has it really notices. The mons pubis is that part of the body and it's normal to be swollen with fatty tissue. Just part of a woman's body. Also I don't think that a poll of husbands and boyfriends preferences is needed. After all, what good would it do then to make people feel bad? Say the poll reveals that most of the guys who answer prefer more a flat mons, well then the people who's are more swollen will just feel upset and self-concious about something which is completely normal. |

But from what I have read - it is just fat - nothing special about it - if you work to lose fat - it should go away.

I have to say that I was a thin cyster for a while before it got worse..and I always have had a real insecurity about being chubby there too. My other sisters and mother do not. I tend to think that it is a symptom and it does naturally get worse when you gain weight...but is always there...it is an area prone to hormone sensitivity so it wouldn't surprise me.
I say padding is better...but deffinitely won't ask DH...he wouldn't even anser curious questions about the s/a he had to do Friday Love it to death for doing it though
I cannot say how much less insecure and alone I feel after finding this site. I truly thought I alone was the ugly and weird with out a reason...now I know there is a reason...and I am not alone. Thanks Ya'll
