This is weird, I thought that mine just got chubby after I gained weight, so I'm hoping that it will get skinny once I lose all the weight. I just don't seem to remeber how chubby it was before...

I just have to say this.....

I bought a pair of jeans the other day. When I tried them on they were very tight. I was turning and looking in the mirror and then I seen it. The pooch. I thought about this thread when I seen it. I took the jeans back and got another size. The pooch is still there but not as bad. I just had to laugh when I seen it.

Sounds like I'm the minority here, but I'm a thin cyster, and mine is "normal." I'm not sure what "normal" is defined by, but mine looks like other women's that I have seen in magazines and such. (Yes, I've read Playboy for the articles.)

Wink Join the club!!

I have the same problem. I thought it was just me!! LOL, thank goodness I am not alone in the "Fat Fanny" club! I have always complained about it to my husband. I think it has to do with the whole "Fat Stored around the Abdomen" thing...

Me too, but I've never felt bad about it. I had a chubby one when I was thin and now it's really noticeable that I'm not so thin. But the last time I felt inseure about it was probably 9th grade. Since then, every single guy (most of my friends are men and it's always been that way) I've ever asked about it has told me that they love it when they see a camel toe or fat "area" on a girl. My current bf of 7 years told me it was one of the things he was attracted to most in a woman, just how some men are "leg" men or "boob" men, etc. There are also "mons" men, LOL! The only people I've ever known to have a problem with it are women. Women talk about other women when they see it. Women feel bad about themselves when they have one. I say embrace and celebrate it! Finally, something that has to do with pcos that is good!

Default it's universal thing

girls, our pussys are like snowflakes. no one the same. sure, overweight women and annorexic women (some hormone, metabolic thing) are reported to develop a puffy mons, if you are born with it you are another snowflake. big girls, small girls, thin and thick can have a chubby mons just as girls of all shapes and sizes can have little mons. all kinds of crazy labias, different skin colour down there, all the snowflake factor. no girl is the same. just ask me, i have seen many live models in figurative art classes. many different snowflakes. just ask a guy and he can tell you he's seen all kinds. buy a photo book, one of those women taking charge of their body, hand mirror party books. the array of snowflakes. unless you've been with a guy who's only seen airbrushed crotches they tend to not have a preference. infact, they see it as a unique brand of you. if he has a problem then he is a problem. a destroyer of snowflakes.

wow I never thought that so many would post that yes you too have extra fat in an area that most women don't have fat. I went to a plastic surgeon a year or so ago after I got down to my goal weight and showed it to him. He said he saw it a lot in women who had gastic bypass because it's just another area where fat can be stored and of course, there aren't muscles for you to "work out", and of course the body chooses where it takes stored fat from.. so there is no way of "getting rid of it" on your own.. I just hate it.. it really annoys me. I'm overjoyed to find other women who rejoice in it, who love having it. who don't feel "different". I think that is great and I'd love to share your joy, but for me.. it's something i've had my entire life (thin or thick) and wearing bathing suits has always been a horrible experience for me and now that I'm thin again, wearing tight jeans, skirts, dresses it shows through. I'm seriously thinking about having lipo there, I've seen it on tv a few different times so I know it's not completely uncommon as I once thought.. anyway.. thanks for all your comments.. ladies we rock!

I also thought it was like an extension of my belly fat... carrying all my fat on the front of my body. Perhaps when my belly goes down, that area will too?

Me too, I actually try to keep things shorter there to try and decrease the, um, puffiness?
I am still a littleoverweight right now but even when I wasn't this was a problem for me, it also creates a bit of a, um, well, the thing that would happen if my pants were too tight happens with loose pants for me, do you know what I mean?

I too have the extra there, but Im a bigger girl so I just thought that it was b/c of that. I just thought that when I lost weight, it would go away. I agree with others, this is the kind of info that makes me feel less insecure and lets me know that I am not alone. There is nothing on SC that hasn't been discussed ;o) I love it. Thank you all
