DH & I love Hole-in-the-Wall Campground on Grand Manan, NB. It is lovely and they have campsites on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Bay of Fundy. You can watch seals, porpoises, and even whales if you're lucky, right from your tent!!
I also really like Halifax NS, and the Cabot Trail (Cape Breton, NS), and Quebec City.
I think Ottawa is a must for all Canadians who are able to visit there. There are a ton of great museums, the Rideau Canal, Gatineau Park, and of course Parliament! DH & I really like The Works - a really cool burger joint in Ottawa.

Our favourite place to camp is an Ontario Provincial park called the Pinery, near Grand Bend, on Lake Huron. I've mentioned it here before. We honeymooned in Bayfield and Goderich and fell in love with Ontario's "west coast." The Pinery is beautiful, and has no mosquitoes, which is a huge plus when camping!

Oooo! I love the Pinery too! You have to book super early for a good site (I prefer the Dunes).
We really like the Tobermory area. Dh and I had a short weekend honeymoon there. We plan on heading up there this summer!

We prefer Burley. It's a lot longer drive through the park, but we have a huge tent that doesn't fit a lot of the sites there (the ones near the bathrooms are the only ones we look at) and the last time we camped in Dunes there was a wicked storm. Our tent wouldn't stay anchored in the sand. But yeah, Dunes is a great area. I loved it with the smaller tent.
I have to put a word in for where I live. The Niagara region in Southern Ontario is beautiful. And right now the fruit harvests are starting. We're into strawberries at the moment, but soon it will be cherries, then peaches and nectarines and raspberries and blackberries.... And then there's the wine! Not to mention the scenery and things to do, even outside of the touristy Niagara Falls stuff.

My favorite weekend getaway would definately be Banff. Everyone should see the Canadian Rockies atleast once in their life. They are just so majestic and no words or pictures can describe them, they are definately something to be seen in person.
I miss St. Jacobs, Ontario I really enjoyed spending wasteless afternoons purusing the shops.
I also miss driving through the Niagara area and especially the attractions in Niagara Falls. Don't even get me started on Grand Bend, I can't count the summers spent up there.
We have absolutely nothing "city like" here in the interior of British Columbia, we have lots of mountains and lakes but unless you are a complete outdoorsy person, there's not any major city attractions like Niagara, Ottawa or even Toronto.
Heck our malls close at 6:00, your lucky to find a restaurant open past 10:00, and don't even think about going to see a matinee during the week.
I suppose if you like small town living, it would be nice...but I definately miss living in a major city.

There are so many places it's hard to pick even a couple!
I'm a big camper so I love the Pinery, Killbear, Algonquin....beautiful!
I LOVE Ottawa & Montreal - have had some great times in both places and can't wait to go back (fingers crossed I make it to the Montreal Jazz Festival next summer!)
And although I haven't been out there in near 10 years I love being out east - NS, NB & PEI - gorgeous!
