Here's some of my favourites & i just thought this was an interesting topic to get started

Journey, Prince, Dean Martin, The Smiths, George Strait, Toby Keith, Andrea Bocelli, Charlotte Church, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Def Lepard, Blue Oyster Cult, Spice Girls, Elvis (in his later more SOULFUL years), Fleetwood Mac (theyre not my fave but sometimes the fleetwood mood strikes u), Culture Club, Dion, the Doors, Janis Joplin, Andrews Sisters, Maguire Sisters, Mills Brothers, Glenn Miller, Beethoven, Christina Aguilera (i think that "beautiful" song is pretty inspirational and shes a confident female role model. shes sexy & confident about it, shes not h00chie), juvenile, flock of seagulls, leann rimes (spelling?...shes also a great role model for girls), mariah carey, gin blossoms (used to have a crush on the lead singer!!!), pearl jam, zachariah selwyn (his music from Dead & Breakfast...hes very talented), SOME black eyed peas (cos i LOVE fergie!)

i have tons of favourites but this is all i can think of for now bcuz its easier to cover genres lol. there are a few artists that i hate...like i think britney spears lacks talent bcuz ive seen & heard her when her voice doesnt have the alterations. i like madonna but i heard her the other day and i think she must be altered too. dont like faith hill (this kiss...that song was horrible, as was her take on janis's piece of my heart). dont like blue grass but i like the russian blue grass band, bering strait. i love foreign music, anything kinda different like zach selwyn and how he merges rap, rock, & country. i dislike outkast. and most busta rhymes music. anyway...

what kinda music do you guys like and what kind do you not and who do you LOVE and who do you HATE in the music biz?

I am listening to my new Joshua Radin CD- a new up and coming artist...very acoustic/lyrical.....I LOVE it.
His music was on SCRUBS and Grays Anatomy and thats how I first heard him.

U2 is my #1 ALL-TIME favourite band.

Love Blue Rodeo (Canadian band), Creed, Velvet Revolver, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Waylon Jennings, Collective Soul, EARLY Elvis (lol), Kenny Chesney, Natasha Bedingfield, The Judds, Alabama, Norah Jones, Joss Stone, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pearl Jam, Tragically Hip (greatest Canadian band ever), Anouk (Dutch rock singer), De Kast (Dutch band), and the list goes on.

Oh, and I adore Bo Bice's voice but was disappointed with his over-produced album, so I didn't buy it.

Hate Britney Spears.
