I found out yesterday that my cousin who lives in America has become a widow at the age of 35. His wife died in their home ? heart attack. I don't know all the details yet, but i am so shocked and sad. They would've been celebrating their 5 year wedding anniversary this weekend!
Thanks for the replies, i spoke to my cousin today, my aunty and uncle have flown out to america where he lives today. Obviously he is distraught like the rest of the family, i just didn't know what to say to him
What do you say?
I guess the best bet would be to just let him know that he has friends and family around that will be there for him no matter what, through this hard time he is going through.
Its no consolation to him now im sure but he was blessed to have someone in his life that he fell in love with married and even though it may have been a short time he had that time to be with her and love her and that is a blessing in itself. Its so sad he has to go through this but I am sure that having family and friends who care and love him will make a world of difference.
I'm so sorry to hear such sad news! Sending prayers, angels love and light to all involved!

"It is a poverty to decide a child must die so you may live as you wish." ~ Blessed Mother Teresa
I am so very sorry to hear that. As for what to say to him that is real tough, no words will ease his pain so soon after his wives death. I guess tell him your sorry and offer all you can to help him at this time of need.
And thinking and praying for you and your family.
Just thought i'd let you know that it is the funeral this afternoon, i am not able to go as it is in america and i couldn't get the time off. I just hope my family will be ok and i hope it goes well.
