Well i have done a big work out and felt loads better after that.... well for about 5 mins and now i'm feeling teary again.
Paddy - you are a very naughty girl encouraging me to eat chocolate! I am determined to lose more weight this week if it kills me, which it probably will!

I have a magic bath recipe, for this problem. If you are getting all the AF symptoms, but still no show - this works for me.
I use 5 drops clary sage oil, (salvia sclarea), dissolved in a dispersant (baby bath stuff will do), in my bath, to bring on my AF. If I have a clary sage bath, I always come on the next day. Only works if the diet/exercise is right too, but if they are - it always works. Only thing is - don't drink alcohol on the day you use it, or you get bad nightmares! I buy my clary sage essential oil from Culpepper's Herbals, but Neals Yard Remedies probably have it, too. A small bottle will last a year or two.
You could get it into your bloodstream equally well by dissolving it in a massage base oil (or just use olive oil/grapeseed oil, whatever from the supermarket, as a base), then massaging into your feet. Most of what you put on your skin ends up in your bloodstream within the hour - and clary sage has been used for centuries, by women.
As with any other essential oil, never use it neat, always dilute in a base oil or a dispersant.
If you just want to relax, how about just having a bath using lavender oil, or something like vetivert, rose, or neroli which are great for evening out moods!
I also find some exercise works wonders - pumps you full of feel-good endorphins!
