Default Feeling less feminine

I totally know what you mean. For awhile I tried to ignore my PCOS because thinking about it made me feel less 'feminine', which was hard for me, because I'm something of a girly-girl. And I know what it is like to look in the mirror and feel disgusted, even though your significant other keeps telling you you shouldn't feel that way. No matter how many times my boyfriend says it, when I'm in that mood, nothing can dissuade me. No matter how many times someone says to you 'size doesn't matter', you've had it ingrained in your psyche that it does. I think perhaps the key is taking it one day at a time, and knowing that your femininity isn't dictated by what you look like, but how you feel. And remembering that when our significant others say we are beautiful, they mean it, and we should try to see ourselves through their eyes.

I feel very feminine but I look feminine too. I totally get into it. But not when I am pursing a man. Elevated testosterone makes men think your hunting them. They don't like it, not even from a feminine woman like myself.

I know how you feel. There are many days that I wake up and do not feel feminine. Betwwen the facial hair, belly fat and dark circles under my eyes from stress, I just don't feel feminine. DH on the other hand thinks I am very pretty and he tells me so. He is always saying I'm sexy and beautiful. (Idon't see it)
Don't get me wrong, there are days when I do feel pretty but usually I don't. So, I know what you are going through....

I have a friend who is a skinny little thing (tomboy). She doesn't feel sexy at all. No boobs, no butt. But her husband is crazy about her, for exactly her body type. Your guy can tell you again, and again, that YOUR body is exactly what he loves. You won't believe, because the d#@* magazines and fashion industry tell you that you shouldn't. Don't let them define sexy for you. You and your guy are the only one's that matter! Buy yourself something a little sexy, that you never thought you would. Then try out the role (like you are an actress). Dance, wiggle, blow him kisses. Just have fun! Maybe you'll find a sexy side you didn't know was there.
