I am recently DX w/ PCOS and started Met in July. I had one AF about 16 days after starting Met, since then nothing! I was starting to get frustrated, thinking "when is this ever going to work?" Well, AF hasn't showed up because I'm pregnant!!! We have been TTC for awhile and last week (to my complete disbelief) I had a +HPT (actually a few since I kept testing - I couldn't belive it!)
For someone who really never thought I would get pg, I think Met is a miracle!
Blessings,
MG

I started met and got my first af 8 days later, 2nd af on 8/28 and I *think* it is possible that I may have ovulated a couple of days ago. lots of cm and a little cramping. (but how the heck would I know?(

Points: 71.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 71.00 | Hi shorty1kanobi:
That is such great news about met working so soon! Here’s wishing you success in ttc on met Also congrats on being a newlywed. We are celebrating our 2nd Anniversary this weekend! I was newly diagnosed with PCOS & started Met in June.
You said you possibly may have ovulated, “but how the heck would I know?” If you would like a "low-tech" way to know, I would recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler, where you’ll learn how easy it is to chart your bbt each morning & learn when you ovulate. It will teach you a lot about your cycles since we have this added burden of PCOS to deal with. It has made me feel so much better to learn as much as I can, as your sig said you are trying to do.
Much luck to you, hopefully you’ll be successful quickly & won’t need the charting! |
