Hello... I am a Canadian cyster living stateside who is having a "homesick" day. I have lived in the US for 7 years, but I still get these moods when I long for "home" ....
I want to sip some coffee at Tim Horton's while eating a cherry stick, listen to the CBC radio in my car, and watch "This Hour has 22 minutes"... I want to be up at our family cottage in the Kawartha's listening to the loons on the lake....and, most importantly, I want to be with my entire family on Monday when they sit down for Thanksgiving dinner together....
In closing, just want to extend a Happy Thanksgiving to all my Cdn Cysters...

Thanks for the replies everyone... I feel less homesick knowing that I can always lean on my virtual Cdn. cysters whenever I long for my home and native land...
I am very proud to be a Canadian and won't give up my Canadian citizenship even though I will probably spend most of my life down here in the USA ... my dh's Mom needs us nearby and we both have great jobs here in NJ, so even though we might move to Canada some day it may have to wait until retirement in 25 years!!!!
