Default Feeling a little sad today....

Well its been almost one week since it was confirmed miscarriage and today I just feel kinda sad. don't get me wrong i had my 4 straight days of crying when i was bleeding and in the middle of it all. But today for some treason I just feel sad. I haven't had any bleeding yet (other than the spotting during the M/C) I just feel I am lying in wait. I just wish AF would get here so we can start ttc again. I have a rx of provera left over from another time dr proscribed it (it is taking all i have not to just take it.) Grrrr!!! How long after M/C did it take you ladies for AF to show up?

Alexis

Sorry for your loss, and feeling so down today. I still have days like that. It gets easier, but it still hurts like hell.

As for AF... I don't Ov on my own, so I didn't get AF on my own. I took Provera 5 weeks after the m/c.

I know the down days.. I get a lot of those days. I was walking the beach today alone and there was no one on the beach except me and I walked up on this young couple about my age with a little baby girl in her cute little bathing suit and hat and I was just so down after that. They looked so happy and the dad was throwing the little girl up and she was squealing and ugh.. it was horrible.. It gets better but it will always be hard on some days...

I can't say how long it takes, I've heard between 4-6 weeks is when youre suppose to get it. I had a D & C 3 weeks ago and I don't have any sign of AF but then again I never get it so I'm going to call my doc next week for provera if it doesn't come. I'm not allowed to try for 3 cycles (ugh shoot me) anyways so I guess it doesn't matter anyways

I'd wait up to 6 weeks if you don't get it by then it might be wise to call ur doc..

Alexis - so sorry for your loss. The up and down days are hard, but eventually there are more up days than down ones. We never get over our lost little one - we just learn to live with the pain.

As for AF, it should come within 4-6 weeks. My RE made me wait 6 weeks and then prescribed provera. It felt like FOREVER waiting that long and then have to wait 2 weeks for it to kick in. Hang in there!

Alexis, I am so sorry for your loss. The days WILL get better, but I can't say that the pain actually ever goes away. I M/Ced at 6wk 2days last November, and I STILL have sad days. They don't come often; it mostly happens when things occurred like "today would have been my due date".....or "my baby would be two months old today." There will always be constant reminders of your lost child, but the pain subsides. Just try to take it easy and get yourself better. In regards to your first menstruation after a M/C, it varies by person. I actually had light spotting mid December ( I actually thought I was pregnant again), and then my normal cycle returned in January. Hope that was helpful! Take care!

I'm sorry for your loss, Alexis! I am sorry you are/were feeling so down....but I'm pretty sure it's normal.

The first time I had a m/c...was in 1992 and it took me 3 years to "work through it" and realize that it wasn't ME.....and that we would be "OK".
The m/c I had this June sucked but was not horrible as I hadn't been pregnant long.
But the m/c this month...HURT....deeply....I wanted this baby SO badly. I still have days where I ache to read my pregnancy ticker and be 10 weeks...but that's not happening, right now.

I wish you everything you desire, to feel "better".....God bless.
