Default feeling sad.....

Well, here I am. I posted a thread on here in December saying that I was going to the doc to see what was wrong with me. Well, in Janurary I found out I do have PCOS. I thought I was going to feel better because now I knew what was wrong with me. Being so scared to say anything for so long and finally I thought everything was going to be alright. I was going to jump right back here on the boards and tell everyone what was up, but when I got home I became extremly depressed. I have been depressed for so long and this really put me over the edge. I starting thinking about my future and babies and finding someone who is going to love me enough to actually tell me he is ready to have a baby to and actually want one with me. No surprises. That sounds bad I think but thats what I was feeling. And here I am 4 months later and I still haven't gotten over it. Am I suppose too? I don't know. There are so many things racing through my head and I don't know how to stop and just feel "normal". Plus, I am overweight. Eating makes me feel better for the moment and I know with PCOS you need to eat healthy and maintain your weight, but it is seeming really hard for me to do. I have tried and tried and I get deeper and deeper in despair and I fall back down. I should go to a Dr. and ask for help but I can't afford it without insurance. What should I do? I'm hurting inside and I'm very lonely even if there is alot of people around. I just don't feel the way I used to. I'm scared and hopeless. Whoever reads this, thank you for taking the time. I do hope to make some new friends on here.

Aww Sweetheart... I felt how you did when I first found out. I was so disappointed, like I blamed myself. I felt lonely even though my bf lives with me and my family, but I just felt like since no one knew what I was going through, I had no one to talk to, no one could relate! But I've come to find that there are so many that are just like you and I. I don't know if I'm over it yet, but this site has been helping me a lot. It's not going to go away overnight. I know that with time you'll learn to cope better. It is a shame that you've been feeling it for this long. Try to eat less or if eating makes you feel better, eat healthier foods. You know, I learned that if you don't buy the unhealthy food you don't have access. I don't know what your diet is, but make a few changes. You might feel better when you change your diet.

I hope you feel better Look for some short term health insurance online, I've seen some policies are like $30/month for like 6 months. Things will work out. Stay strong..

I don't have any specific advice... but hang in there, things will get better. You will find someone to love.. they generally show up when you least expect them (typical male behavior, LOL..) Try to find something you're interested in and throw yourself into it... and one thing that really helped me is eating more fruit. I have made it a point to keep fresh fruit and cheese around the house. When I am upset, instead of reaching for something unhealthy, I reach for some fruit if I want something sweet, or a bit of cheese if I want something salty. It's helped me so far..

Anyway... I just wanted to chime in and say that you're definitely not alone. You've got friends here who know exactly what you're talking about.
