Unhappy FELT A BIT SORRY FOR POSH!

Did any of you see the cover of "heat" magazine and there is a picture of Posh Spice going to a Man U match and they discovered a bald patch on her head! It was put down to worry and stress etc, but the first thing that occured to me was her PCOS.

It can cause thining of the hair! I did feel sorry for her - her life doesnt seem to be her own and the worry of kidnapp and just not being able to go out for a coffee is terrible.

Did anyone else see it and what do you think?

Helen

I thought the same thing when I saw the front cover, but didn't read the article. I do feel sorry for her at times.

I was out shopping today and noticed the front cover of 'heat' while I was walking past a shop. I saw Posh on the front, and the first thing that came into my head (when I read about her 'bald patch') was PCOS!
I had to buy it to see what it was all about but when I read it was probably down to stress, I couldn't believe it! Why didn't they mention the fact that she suffers with PCOS and that that was the likely cause?

This is very cruel indeed. And I really don't understand why so many people dislike her...

Bless her

I dont really dislike her - she just got very lucky and she isnt really the best of singers. I wish they did mention the PCOS too because apart from the stress that particular symptom is due to PCOS!

Default Posh

You are left feeling rather sorry for Posh. I wish she would make use of her status to bring attention to PCOS more. As I am sure there are a lot more people out there, who are too afraid to go to the doctors about all the PCOS symptoms.

I wasn't even aware that she suffered from PCOS, I do know that Jamie Oliver's wife does though. Why do these women get to be skinny with PCOS when the majority of us have weight to spare?!!

Has anyone bought this? If so why not email them and point out she has PCOS and this is a symptom. I know it's a gossip mag, but there will be women who read it with the same thin, a link to Soulcysters would be an idea. They can choose whether or not to print it, but it's worth a try.

If you'd rather not, post the email address here and I'll do it!! (Better still we should ALL do it!!!)

It may also be due to the fact that she has recently had a baby and is probably always having things done to her hair.

I posted a message on VB's site. there are a few threads from worried fans about her going bald so I commented that Male patterned baldness is one of the symptoms of PCOS (not that I think thats her problem in this instance - I think it's just that the extensions have pulled some patches out) and I left 2 links - 1 to Soulcysters and one to an information site.

it's always good to keep up the profile
