Ruth and Dennis Sharkey have been involved in natural medicine all their lives, and since 1983 have operated their successful practice from Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Over the past 20 years they have helped thousands of people overcome complaints such as chronic fatigue, glandular fever, arthritis, sinus, lung and pancreas problems, children’s complaints and many other health problems. However it is through the extensive research and experience they have gathered in hormonal balancing, in particular helping ‘infertile couples’ to conceive, that word of their work has reached all over the world. Because of the huge demand Ruth now concentrates on conception care, while Dennis continues to be available for all complaints as well as conception care from the clinic in Nerang.

Now due to the high number of interstate and international patients seeking assistance from the clinic (20,000 patients in 35 countries around the world), Ruth and Dennis have decided to start a series of ‘Going TALKABOUT’ seminars. These have been designed for the clinic’s distance patients to be able to meet and talk with Ruth and Dennis and to ask the many questions they have. Ruth and Dennis’ aim is to help these couples understand they are not alone in their problem and that there are many ways they can help themselves.
Topics discussed during the Going TALKABOUT seminars include: why the problem exists, hormonal imbalances, polycystic ovaries, endometriosis, older mothers, male infertility, IVF and the herbs, the pill, tampons, and the emotional aspects as well as answering specific questions relating to these as they arise. (Please Note: Due to time restrictions on lecture venues personal consultations will not be available.)
Every second month they will visit a different state or territory within Australia, or visit some of their patients overseas via seminars in New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and the U.S.A. (See above for more details).
