Default Femaprin, Donq Quai and NPC

Hello everyone!

So I posted the other day about feeling down that I was on CD 35 and i still didn't get AF. My last cycle was a perfect 29 day cycle and I attributed that to a Femaprin and Dong Quai combo. However, the month before that cycle I used NPC cream for 7 days to induce my period and it worked! It never occurred to me that it may have worked so smoothly because of the herbs I was taking. I continued to take Femaprin and Dong Quai along with my multivitamin every single day and my period is late again. On Friday, which was CD 38, I started taking NPC cream 2x per day again and already I'm feeling crampy, etc. I am pretty sure AF will be here soon. From now on, once O is confirmed, I will take NPC cream until AF arrives along with the herbs. I am not giving up!!!!

Are you taking Dong Quai every day throughout your cycle? I wouldn't recommend this as Dong Quai can actually trigger ovulation when taken in the beginning of your cycle, but can possibly suppress ovulation if you take it throughout. At least everything I've read on it indicates that, since it acts as a Phytoestrogen.
