No, it made me Ovulate one time, and I just gained like 10 lbs after that (my own fault about the wieght gain.) I stopped it because I thought it was making me have depression thoughts. I may try to take it again sometime, I think it is a very good vitex product.

I did get AF another time, but I took Progesterone before I got it in addition to the Femaprin.

I know it does work for some poeple, just made me feel a little depressive!

Also, once I get to a certain wieght (200 lb or over) my body does not want to ovulate no matter what I take. When I ovulated on Femaprin I was only 195, so I think that also made a difference. I am in the process of losing that wieght again, and Cinnamon and DCI seem to be helping with that.

I had the spotting and the brown and the bright red and then back to brown, but then....let me tell you. AF was HORRIBLE. Not that I wasn't glad to see her, but VERY heavy flow. Only bad for 1 day though. Today it's light again and back to the brownish mixed with pinkish.

Ladybug, I took both for awhile before I got my Met upped to 2000mg. You've got to be careful though or you can make your blood sugar too low.

Hi Ladies!

I heard about Femaprin from a Cyster Friend of mine, and thought I'd check out this thread.

My son was conceived after 8+ failed cycles of Western treatments. We took a "break," and I continued my acupuncture and an herbal combo given to me by my acupuncturist. So, I tend to believe that the "natural" way works better in my body.

Though we are not officially TTC again (yet), I am interested in getting my body/hormones "back in shape" so when we do TTC it isn't such a struggle.

I am ordering Femaprin today and will see what happens!

Thanks Jen. That's what I was wondering about. I take 2000mg of Glumetza at night, so I didn't know if adding the cinnamon would hurt or not.

Anyone else that has gotten their AF after being on Femaprin....was it BAD? Mine has been VERY heavy. I was just wondering....

My AF on Femaprin was on the lighter side from what I remember.

i still havent had a thing , if nothing happens when i have finished my next bottle im going to stop taking it . im really losing hope now..

Mine wasn't heavy. It was different from the "periods" I had on Provera and BCP. It lasted about 6-7 days but was pretty light, only 1 or 2 days could even be considered medium. When induced, it usually only lasts 4-5 days and is medium-heavy for 2 of those.
