Hey, I hstarted Femaprin about a month and a half ago. It's been almost 3 months since my last AF...so I am really hoping it works and brings on my AF. My DH and I are also TTC, so hopefully it will help us there too! I do notice more slight cramping than usual....sometimes thinking it's AF coming on...but nothing. I wonder if that's related to the Femparin. Thanks for starting this thread!

Skye---

I can totally relate to your experience. I just recently stopped BCP and have been on them for over 13 years. I tried NPC but no AF and have been on Femaprin for a little over 2 months with some cramping but no AF. My skin has gotten worse and I am so moody. I only get AF on BCP as well so am hoping that Vitex will work but have a feeling it's going to take some time for my body to regulate itself.

The thing with natural medicine is that it takes time. I am preparing to apply to naturopathic medical school so trying to become a practicer of what I will preach but it sure is hard to stick to all of this when we feel poorly.

Hang in there, you're not alone!

I started taking femaprin as of today. I haven't had AF in forever and I'm hoping this will help.

The cramps are awful tonight but no other signs of AF. It seriously feels like I should be flowing a heavy river and maxing out on the super plus tampons...
something is going on ...come on flo!

did your period stop whilst being on BC ? mine did all of a sudden without any warning . the month before it was as heavy as anything , then the next month zilch..but still got all the painful cramps etc . still do this day i get the monthly cramping AND the shocking mood swings . oh god the pimples , i have got a volcano of a pimple right now just below my right ear on the jaw bone..hurts like HELL !!
yes i know it takes a long time for natural meds to work , but i read other ppl saying they have gotten theres back within a month or sometimes less , it just really gets me down . im sure u can totally relate *big hugs*

ooo good luck with becoming a naturapath !!! i truly hope you succeed !!
it is so nice to know that there are other women in the same boat , i wish you lots and lots of baby dust *big hugs*

would be lovely to catch up with you again

my mother is really skeptical about the femaprin , she feels im wasting my money . the only way she will believe it , is if it actually works for me . i know she is only looking out for me though

*hugs*

I'm still waiting for AF and getting soooooooo nervous as to why femaprin works for everyone else but me. I'm on CD 54 and I've been on vitex (regular) for about a month and a half and then switched to Femaprin about 10 days. I did get a period about 10 days after starting regular vitex but since then - nothing. Has this happened to anyone else?? Why isn't it working for me????? I've also added Dong Quai to the mix (been on that about for a few days and STILL nothing)

Hi Dropey - thanks so much for replying. I'm just so torn and want it to work for me SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. So many woman on here have gone on to have bfp's in the time its taking me to get another AF. Its just furstrating, sad and scary. Sorry guys - don't mean to be debbie the downer - but I just SOOOOOO want to get a period so that I can try to have a baby. I guess I could use provera to induce - but I'd REALLY love to try something natural. Well - thanks for listening. I hope everyone has a really great weekend!

WOW - I just looked at your ticker - CONGRATS on your weight loss!!!

Red face Femaprin

Hello Everyone!
I'm new here. I've been reading your posts and wanted to join in.

I started using Femaprin 9 days ago. My DH and I have been ttc for two years. We've done the chlomid thing and one IUI and another attempted IUI (they over stimulated me). I've been seeing an alternative doctor as well. I'm really hoping I have good results like the rest of you.

I took regular vitex (lorna vanderhaege kind) for seven months and only had AF three times. I did get AF on my first bottle of femaprin. If I don't take anything I regularly get AF every 5 months. So I might have just gotten lucky. It isn't going to start working instantly. It is recommended that it will take 6 month for your body to adjust to vitex. Just try to keep positive. My doctor gave me an ovulation tester to see if anything is going on this month. He doesn't believe in femaprin. So badly want to prove him wrong!!

There are alot of doctors that dont believe in anything natural. Its a pity. I have had a doctor chuckle at me, before, when I mentioned something was different in my most recent pregnancy, and attributed it to the extra vitamins (high dose) and minerals ect I was taking.

I hope you prove him wrong! I agree, its not going to work instantly. It takes time. I think taking it right away in the morning seems to work better too, maybe?
