Question Femaprin vs. Vitex

Well, I was doing some research, and I read that Femaprin actually has more vitex in it than the vitex itself!! Femaprin contains vitex 225mg and Nature's Way Vitex contains only 40mg. It seems like both do similar yet different things. It seems to me that Femaprin is the better one to use. I'm a little confused. What do you ladies think?

You probably seen on here that I am taking the Femaprin. I feel like that Femaprin is the better choice because of so many studies that have been done on it. It is a well-proven and studied supplement. It is imported by Nature's Way from Europe and called Femaprin in the USA. The trade name of Femaprin's vitex in Europe is Agnolyt, and the company that makes it is Madaus. Trusted for over 40 years by European health practitioners. I also noticed that almost every review online of Femaprin was Positive, and poeple really seemed to say it worked excellent for bringing back periods that were missing for months and keeping them regular. I guess I have yet to see how it works for me as I have been taking it for 7 days now!! Patience is not one of my greater qualities! I hope I can stick it out for 3 months and give it a chance to work before giving up!!

comparing herbs can be tricky. your 40mg are probably standardized (cuz 40mg is a pretty low dosage), which is a different thing than whole herb. the femaprin contains both standardized and whole herb. i think you should always take the whole herb, rather than only the standardized, and it's definitely good to take both (standardized & whole) together. usually, the whole herb will have a higher "MG" than standardized.

i take a liquid tincture, which has 500 mg per dropperful, and i've already noticed a difference. i've also heard good things about femaprin on this site.

Ladies, thanks for all this great info!! I ordered 2 bottles of Femaprin last night online. It's hard to get a hold of those things here in the Caribbean. The regular Nature's Way Vitex was working okay for me, but I want to try the Femaprin. And from all that I've read, it seems like Femaprin is the way to go.

hmmm
isn't one's hormonal imbalances a factor on how much vitex one should use???
i also use natures way 400mg x3 and when i started i got af a week after and now i am spotting 21 days after

so maybe depending on your blood test... u can determine how much you will need to consume

jus my thoughts on this
