Femara again! Hi there,
I was looking for opinions.
Before conceiving DD we tried clomid and nothing happened (no growing follicles) and we were lucky to finally conceive after injections and iui. For TTC#2, the RE wanted me to try femara for 2 cycles and then we could move to injections. Well, femara did make a follicle grow for the first 2 cycles and we decided to do iui to up our chances but bfn's. we were suppose to start an injection cycle, but b/c i'd have to wait till CD 21 to start the lupron and provera, the timing didn't work b/c of the clinics holiday hours (and closing on the 24th and 25th of December). I was very disappointed and b/c i didn't want to wait till the new year we decided to do another round of femara (so that i didn't feel like i was waiting around and doing nothing). tomorrow i go in for CD 13 u/s and b/w and this time i was thinking of just BD'g and no iui. i guess i just feel like we need the injections b/c my LH is so high and why waste the money when it probably won't work.
sorry i'm babbling, here's my question... do u think a screwy LH (i don't ovulate on my own either) makes the environment less "friendly" for successful conception? i guess i just don't want to feel like i didn't do everything i could this cycle. would you still do the iui?
thanks for listening and good luck to everyone still waiting for a BFP.
