Hello Ladies -

I updated the buddy list and removed folks who haven't posted on the last couple of threads. If I have removed you by accident I AM SO SORRY!!!! Please let me know and I will add you back on ASAP!! I am just trying to keep the list managable and I couldn't think of a better way to do it.

Lori - I hope this cycle continues to look good for you!! I know what you are saying about life being on hold while TTC. I really hope that you get your BFP in the next 2 or 3 cycles so that you don't have to have that conversation again. I will be praying for you.

kary - ((HUGS)) I am so sorry this cycle hasn't gone well. I will definately NOT be seeing 1408. When I was younger I loved being scared, but now it just makes me feel stressed out...man, I am getting old.

Malar - ((HUGS)) I am so sorry about the bad news. I hope all goes well with the Met and that your numbers look good this weekend.

Laura - Have a great time in the Dells!! What is there to do this time of year?

my_herstory - I know what you mean about a slow 2ww...time seems to almost completely stop! When are you planning to POAS?

ttcsarah - You can hold out!! If you do give in and test, I hope you are one of those ladies that gets early BFPs! I have not tried a trigger before. I am hoping that 5mg of Femara is the thing for me and that I won't need a trigger. I am already paying $100 a month for the Femara and I would rather not have to add a trigger on to that!

I know I missed a bunch of people, but I just don't have the energy to go on this morning. I am feeling really crappy and I have convinced myself that we are never going to have a baby. Every time I try to get myself out of it by thinking positively, I just slip farther and farther into the dark side. Ick...this sucks. On the plus side, I took my 1st dose of Femara this morning, so hopefully it is doing its thing!

Who will be testing soon?

I hope everyone has a wonderful morning!

Kim -- thanks for the new thread! The list looks great, and I love seeing the grads on there! Sorry you're having a down day. I had one of those on Monday. I hope you feel better. I think part of it is the crazy hormonal stuff we're doing to ourselves, but of course the TTC part alone is pretty darn stressful. But we'll get there!! (((hugs)))

Thanks for starting the new thread Kim! I hope u feel better. G/L this cycle.

Well tomorrow is my u/s cd14 & I'm so worried guys. Like it was being discussed on the old thread when I did "o" it was usually between cd18-cd23 so I'm not too optimistic that I'll have any large follies...so I'm scared my RE will cancel this cycle. I know I shouldn't worry so much before I go--but I'm sure "all" of you understand. It's like every aspect of TTC w/ PCOS makes us worry, doubt & wonder. Why can't I just be normal?!

patrice-If they try to cancel the cycle, ask them to give you more time and see what they think. Worth a shot, right?

Okay and I officially HATE the South Carolina BMV!!!

Kim ~ thanks for the kind words and for starting the new thread. We are cycle buddies this month and I am not going to let you be depressed! {{HUGS}} You O'd last month on 5mg. of Femara and you will O this month. I am sure of it. We just have to get the spermie and the egg to do tha cha cha at the right time. I can't remember if you are BD'ing or doing a procedure this month...sorry! Do you normally O around the same time each month? If so, we need to make sure we get you and your DH in to the bed of love a couple of days prior.

Are you using anything else aside from Femara? Robitussin, preseed, etc.?? I so hope that we both get an extra large BFP this month!! Blowing tons of baby dust and pick-me-up dust your way!!

Kim and everyone so sorry I didn't get to the thread. I actually flew into NY yesterday in the snowstorm and lost my connection. I did put a new thread out there but I was too little too late. I don't think I did it right anyway. Again I am so sorry!!!

Soonermama - I think I did escape the disease zone in my house so I am thrilled.

TTCSARAH - Yep in the 2WW 7 days to go. I tell ya this cycle is weird.

I am having quick periodic pains on my left side. I am usually naucious from the trigger but not this cycle. I wonder if my body has a clue as to what is going on. I am in NY till tomorrow and DH and I are celebrating Valentines Day on Friday. I have made a lot of changes and was growing my hair out for locks of love and got my hair chopped off on Monday. It is rather short but they got 11 inches of red hair I hope someone can use. Oh well I guess I am going to head back to the hotel and watch project runway and order room service.

Take care all
Kelley

Kelley, I am getting my hair chopped off on the 23rd for locks of love!! I will have to post before and after pics when I get back from the hairdresser.

Patrice, I understand how you feel, I go on the 19th for my u/s and I am so scared that I won't have any follies that are mature enough to trigger. I feel like my body works against me sometimes.

Kary, I hate the Indiana DMV, lol, we have to get our plates on Friday, but DH has to work and I do too, so my in-laws are gonna pick them up for us, so they get to deal with them, lol!! Better them than me!!

Kim, hope you get to feeling more optimistic!!

Well, if I missed anyone, sorry!!

Hugs,
Donna

Kim - I hope you had a better rest of the day! I was feeling really down last week and you know what cheered me up? My grandma started to give me sex / ttc advice and I couldn't help but laugh. A weird thing to lift my spirits but it was too funny that my 80+ year old grandma was telling me how sperm finds the egg, etc.

Redhead - I hope your weird cycle is indicative of an upcoming BFP!!!

Lori - I'm disliking my job right now too but the insurance is good and in the event I do get pregnant they have very nice maternity benefits. I'm taking progesterone twice daily to make my luteal phase 14 days but I STARE at the hpt test instructions listing "4 days before your missed period" and I get all itchy to POAS

Hi ladies -
I'm new to actually posting however reading your stories has been very motivating for me. I wanted to thank you. Do you mind if I join??
My RE started the Femara this cycle and I was kinda nervous. Everyone else I know is still on clomid. It's nice to see other docs going this direction as well.
Today is CD26. I had 1 good 22mm follicle on CD12 and O'd on CD14. I've got my fingers crossed, but I'm making myself wait to HPT. After almost 2 years of TTC I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
Quick question - what is POAS?

Becky-Welcome! POAS is Pee On A Stick (like for an hpt or opk). That's a great sized follie for CD12! I think that's what one of mine was this month and last too! Anyway, kudos to you for being so patient to POAS. Do let us know thought when you do! GL and we're glad you found us.

Sorry just to drop in here, but I was hoping someone could tell me if they have taken Femara the way my Re prescribes it. He wants me to take ten 2.5mg of femara all on day 3. this sounds strange to me, but he reassured me that this is how he dispenses it. Has anyone taken it like this? thanks!

Hey Ladies!!

Just a pop in to say hi, DH & I have both got the flu. He stayed home from work today, and I was feeling fine this AM but it's slamming me hard this evening and I doubt I'll make it in tommorrow.

I was looking at my IUI paperwork and it said something about if DH has had fever in last 30 days his count may be low. I've been bugging to stay medicated to keep his fever down...anyone had a canceled IUI due to fever?
