Holy cow My_history that looks like a BFP to me!!! I am so impressed that you guys are able to be as low key about this as you are. I will hold off my congrats and H&H 9 months until you hear your beta results, but I will have the message typed out and ready to send off as soon as I see your post!

My herstory -- looks like you're pg to me, but I'll hold off my excitement for you till tomorrow too!!!!

Unfortunately, it seems that femara has failed me this cycle. I went in today for an u/s and nothing. I'm going back on Tuesday but am not expecting much. This was my last round of Femara, and I'll be starting on Follistim next cycle.

Whitney - I am so sorry Femara didn't do it for you this cycle.

Did your RE give you any indication as to why Femara wouldn't work for you after it had for 3 cycles? I hope all goes well with the Follistim!!

Congrats, bobbygirl! Hope everyone else has the blessing you have had. I think I O'ed, but late, and didn't trigger, and no IUI, but we did BD the night before my O. My temps were up and down afterwards, though, which is probably not good. FF has my test date of the 25, which to me is a good sign -- I conceived on the 25th of May last time, we were married on the 25th of October, and I lost my virginity on the 25th of May many years ago. Keep your fingers crossed for me, everyone!

Well, we got DH's SA results today...I'm beyond upset about everything...drained...I don't know if I can even take being around babies anymore...I don't want to talk to my friends who have kids..nothing...
DH was diagnosed as subfertile today. Volume was low, motility was low, count was low, and morphology was at an abnormal level.
With my diabetes, and DH's male factor and PCOS...I just feel like giving up. I don't want to try IUI...I don't think we can afford things like that and certainly not IVF and we've already been turned down for adoption once...which, if you know much about adoption, it looks bad and is really hard to recover from after being turned down once.
I have no hope left...I can't stop crying...I don't think I wantDH to go through with all those procedures and surgeries...I don't think I want to put him through all of that. I don't know what to do....
I don't know that I'm going to continue with the fertility treatments. It won't do any good for me...and I am tired of the waiting...I think we are going to get to the point of acceptance where we just accept the fact that it is impossible to have children and it will just not happen for us.

Hello Femera Ladies!!

Thanks Kim & Tummy for the words of wisdom!! I've now sucessfully climbed off the edge...

Tommorrow is my 2nd u/s will be CD15. I'm pretty doubtful that we will have follies that are ready but I'm feeling a little bit of pressure and cramping, so I'm pretty sure they're growing down there! We'll see what doc has to say about waiting for a Day 18 u/s, and if she thinks its a good idea to trigger that late, and also about prog. We're keeping our fingers crossed that we'll still be okayed for our IUI!!

Kim -- Thanks for the advice hon!! You must be a googling maven, because you're such a resource!! I love it! Did you have your u/s yesterday? How did it go??

Bobbysgirl!! -- CONGRATS on the BFP!! Wahoooo!! I am sooo thrilled for you...we were due for some BFP's around here!!

Maddie -- Thanks for the hugs darlin'! I needed them. But the sun came out today and it was hard to be blue any more!

Tummy -- I was so relieved to hear that I'm not the only late O'er, and that a trigger past cd15 isn't impossible. I am soo bummed to hear about your cycle. How wierd that you would be really successful for a couple of months and than nothing.

Hang in there!

Rayette -- Get thee to bed girl!! Have fun babydancing!! I'm crossing my fingers for you this cycle in a big way!

Myherstory -- There is NO DOUBT...that test is a BFP!! I totally understand being retisent (well I sort of understand...I myself would be bouncing off the walls!!

) But honestly hon...false positives are rare, and you might be the first woman in the history of the world to have 6 of them in a row!! Now I am sending super, super sticky dust your way!!

Btrflybeetle --

big hugs your way. I am so sorry. I can't even imagine how disappointing that must have been to hear...for both of you. I'm thinking of you....

Alright...have a great weekend ladies!! I'll stop by sometime tommorrow to update you all on our u/s.

Corey - ((HUGS)) Please don't give up hope!! Do you have DH's s/a results...would you mind sharing the specifics? I know how devistating it can be to get those results, and I am so sorry. Please, please, please don't give up hope yet!! It is totally normal for a guy's fertility to fluctuate and this may have just been an off day. Is he going in for another s/a? Even if there is a problem, there is quite a bit you can do. Make sure he is wearing boxers and no hot tubs. If he is a smoker/drinker it is time to quit both (or at least really cut back). If he rides a bike, he might want to lay off awhile. Get him started on a good multi vitamin, vitamin C and vitamin E. Get him in to a urologist to get checked out for varicole (sp?). There are tons of ladies who conceive when their partner's counts aren't great, and I am sure you will be one of them!!

Ugh! I am totally starting to think this cycle is a bust. Previously, my OPKs have gotten dark gradually ending in a +OPK regardless of whether or not I actually O. This cycle, they aren't getting darker at all! I am CD 13, and they should be getting at least a bit darker, but I have the same stupid light line on all of them. I keep hoping that the surge will be very sudden, but that has never happened before. Has anyone else had a very, very light line turn into a positive really quickly?

I'm with you Kim...looks like I was totally wrong about growing follies. u/s this AM showed that there has been very little growth since Wedensday. All follies still <7.5mm.

I'm also starting to think this cycle may be a bust.

I wanna crawl back into bed and stay there until this cycle is over.

Hi everyone.

Thanks for all of your comments and support...we are still having some trouble with this and trying to relax this weekend.
The results we got showed that the volume was 1.0 L when 2.0 L is normal. Sperm count was 14 million when 20 million is normal. Motility is 27%. Morphology is 70%. There were also white blood cells in his semen.
They referred us to a specialist (I didn't think I could take any more Drs) and we have another SA to do within two weeks. I don't even know that we can afford going to the infertility urologist at this point...depending on how the diagnosis is written up, we may not be able to pay cash for the appointment. Our first urologist wrote up the diagnosis as atrophy to the testes. We are trying to figure out if we are going to go to the appointment or not.
I don't understand. My husband has never smoked, he doesn't drink or anything. He does have persistent acid reflux and takes zantac on a regular basis and he has high cholesterol...which he refuses to take medicine for. Could these be causes?
I was thinking of buying a ovwatch to try and see if that would help to get me pregnant..but I don't feel hopeful about anything right now.
I would love some recommendations...herbal things...any recommendations that might increase sperm count. My husband doesn't work out much either....will that help? I don't know anything right now....
We will probably look into supplements and see if that might help...however, I'm not encouraged with the morphology. I thought we could deal with the count being low, but this is more than we ever expected.
I hope to have a better outlook by Monday...but we'll see how I'm feeling..thank you for all of your support...
