3 DPO for me. I tried to test opk last night but it was a dud and I didn't have anymore pee, so Oh, well. FF is showing coverline and my temp was up again this am. My ovaries still have a little ache to them.
Cory-((Hugs)) Sorry things didn't go well. Remember it only takes one little swimmer, keep looking for the additional help you may need. I take chinese meds to help balance my hormones maybe there is something that DH can take. Here is the online store I use I also put it to the mens health. Good Luck. Patrice- My heart was breaking reading your posts. I desperately wish there was something I could do or say that would heal your pain. I'm glad to hear that you are able to try the injectables afterall. Hopefully that will do the trick!
Btflybeetle_ To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. My dh has male factors as well. We had many of the same issues as your dh. It is NOT insurmountable, however impossible it must seem right now!! There are several things going on with my dh, one of which is retrograde ejaculation (a valve malfunctions and the sperm goes into the bladder). This is easily tested for by looking for sperm in urine after ejaculation. Believe it or not, pseudophedrine (the real stuff) helps with this. Dh takes it every 4 hours during my fertile times. I'm going to order the tri-amino acids for him to start taking, too. Your dh's morphology is actually really good. Dh's was around 25%, with motility at 50%. We were able to get pg last summer with femara and IUI (ended in m/c). We're planning to try another IUI in the next month or 2. IUI is not too expensive. If you just watch at home for your lh surge, you could do a basic sperm wash/IUI for not too much $. Ours was around $480, but our clinic's cost just went down to $377. My dh is frustrated about his numbers, too. He's very fit, runs marathons, doesn't smoke, eats healthy, so he doesn't understand why this has happened. But none of us expected to have pcos, either. I know how devastated you are now, though. dh was dx first, then when my pcos dx came, i felt like the door had been slammed shut.
Kim- I hope your opks turn darker for you! I had some ewcf yesterday, so I thought for sure I was close. Took a test, and there was barely even a line. ARGH.
lonnie- To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. I'm sorry. Maybe you'll o late. Keep bd'ing and taking opks at home.
my_herstory and coop- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
rayette- i hope you caught your egg!!!
pookietooth- I hope the 25th brings some good news for you! wouldn't that be awesome if you got your bfp on such a special day?
tummy- I'm sorry femara didn't work for you this cycle. are you hoping for a late o, or will you start provera?
I had my SHG yesterday. OUCH is all I have to say about that. No obvious reasons for the gigantic clots, which my dr says means it's all my wacked out hormones. I usually see all the little follicle/cysts when they are measuring for a follie scan, but yesterday she just measured the ovaries themselves. I was amazed to see that "string of pearls" so clearly on the screen. I've never seen that before! Dh has the flu (or whatever nasty virus I had 2 weeks ago), so it's probably good that I'm no where close to o'ing (that's assuming I will even o this cycle).

Hi everyone I was in the oct- and nov. femara thread last year, and i decided to take a break. Then I got a faint BFP 4 times on the 19th! I had been pregnant before and felt all the symptoms with my dd. but it didnt last long To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. i think it was a chemical pregnancy. I started bleeding 12 hours after and went to the e.r with severe back pain, test was negative WOW. i am still bleeding and got positive urine tests, 2 days after, dr. said i may have had chem. preg. i showed him the bfp's and they were indeed that with fmu only except 1st day was in the early p.m. and was shown right away!.my periods are usually only 3 days and always regular., 30 days apart. i was 4-5 days late on this one. so wierd, i o'd on femara in oct and nov. with progesterone numbers of 13.2, but decided to take a break due to the bfn's, then thought i had good news this month. please anyone, have you had this happen? and if so can i tafe femara again this month? i am very excited to continue now, and it seems like people that have chem. preg. get pregnant again shortly after.

Chambergirl - I'm glad your HSG went well and that everything looked good!
Whitney - I'm sorry to hear that your u/s didn't turn up anything and I hope you have good experiences with Follistim.
Btrflybeetle - [[[[[HUGSS]]]]] Don't give up hope - my DH originally only had 1% normal morphology and we were devastated. But then we tested several months later and he had normal morphology. My RE theorized that maybe he had been exposed to somehting environmental that hurt his sperm count. We think it was the harsh fumes from using deck cleaner. So maybe your DH also had something like this? I'll be praying for you.
Ljlarsen - I'm sorry to hear about your follies, will you be getting another u/s to check again?
As for me, I visited the RE yesterday expecting to start injectables. Unfortunately, when we were told last cycle we could start injections this cycle - they neglected to tell us that we had to set up a separate consultation to put things in action. So the RE suggested we try Femara one more time and we'll have our consult in a few weeks. I left the office in tears because I was so disappointed. Don't get me wrong - I love that Femara doesn't give me any side effects and leaves my lining nice and plump, but I was really hoping that we could do something so that we'd get more than 1 follie per cycle. Maybe this is for the best, we'll be much more informed with a formal consultation rather than flying blind. Hope you ladies have a great weekend!

Has the news sunk in yet?
TTCSarah - I am so sorry you don't get to start your injectables this cycle. I understand the frustration of going to the RE with a specific set of expectations and then not having them met. I hope that you get one really big follie this cycle and that you get your BFP this month.
tonia - Welcome back! Have you called your docs office? I have no idea if you can take Femara so soon after a chemical pregnancy.
Sooner - I am sorry the procedure was painful. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Is it like the HSG where you are more fertile after?
Rayette - How is the 2ww going?
I am doing pretty good. I got a positive on my digital OPKs today, so hopefully O will happen in the next couple of days! We are using preseed this cycle along with the instead cups, so hopefully DH's little guys find the egg this time...I wish i could draw them a map!!

My herstory -- I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! CONGRATS!!!
Donna -- What a wonderful accomplishment. Looking forward to seeing the pics.
Tonia -- I don't have any answers, just wanted to say I'm sorry for what you are going through ....
Sarah -- So sorry about your disappointment ... I would be crying too. I hate it when our doctors jerk us around!!! At least you can do the femara and this cycle might not be lost ... perhaps it was meant to be ... Hugs to you.
Sooner -- sorry to hear about your test and DH's illness. Sounds like you are being slammed from all sides.
Kim -- LOL on the map. Giggle. Great to hear that you are O'ing.
Corey -- Hugs to you. I don't think I can add much to what everyone else has said, but we are all here to give you the support you need to get through this -- and you will get through this!
Lonnie -- I might have missed this but how was your appt?
Pookie -- Good luck on the 25th!!!
I'm doing OK -- watching the Oscars right now and Amy Adams is on singing a song from Enchanted -- I bought the soundtrack I loved it so much! DD said her first sentence this weekend, "I like that." It was super cute. I am just waiting for AF, oddly enough I'm hoping she takes her time because of our vacation scheduled for next month -- that could mess up a monitored cycle for us.

Laura-I'm watching the oscars too. I thought Amy Adams did great. I haven't seen the movie Enchanted yet but as soon as it's out, I'm buying the movie cuz I just know that I'll love it!

Kary -- Well, the even better song from Enchanted is "That's how you Know". I think they are going all out on that one. I was kind of mad that they nominated so many songs from Enchanted, they will all cancel each other out! It's a great movie -- I saw it twice in the theater, the first time with DH and the second time with my mom, my grandmother, SIL and niece. Four generations -- that was fun.
The dresses have been pretty tame so far, nothing to be snarky about yet!

I totally agree about the dresses--nothing to write home about. I did however, think that Katherine Heigl looked stunning. I just can't wait to watch Enchanted though. I'm dying to see it. Oh wait! OMG! She's singing that song now....bbl...
