Lonnie - Thanks for the support! Your signature picture is so pretty! Where was it taken?

My_herstory - I completely understand how you've been feeling and have had more than a few slumps in mood. Hang in there - we're all here for you.

Kim - I don't know what I'd do without this message board and the support I get here that I feel I can't get anywhere else. Thanks for your help! Good luck with this cycle and baby dust!!

As for me, I'm just waiting for AF to show up and then we'll try again. I'm glad today is a holiday from work - today is all about catching up on things and relaxing. Hope you ladies have a great Monday!

Kary,

Do you know if nausea with the progesterone is a common side effect? Is that something i should expect? Sending *~*~BabyDust~*~* your way!

Kim & Sarah --

Isn't it a fun picture? I am finally figuring out how to post stuff right! This is DH and I are on our honeymoon to Maui. This photo is taken on a sunset cruise. On our first morning in Maui DH sliced his foot on a piece of coral and we ended up spending the first day of our honeymoon in the ER while he got 14 stitches in the bottom of his foot. This cruise was in leiu of the the snorkling cruise we really wanted to take, but couldn't because he couldn't get back in the water the rest of the trip!!

Good Morning Ladies!
Thanks for your kind words.
To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Although I try very hard to be strong I do need that sometimes. (Especially since u are the only people I completely open up to about wanting to be a mother, etc. I keep all in. Honestly I don't even confide in dh. I know I should but I can't. That has to do w/ my last marriage.)
I won't lie and say I'm all better today. It's just that today there is more "acceptance" than "hurt". I ended up calling in to work on Friday. I just couldn't sit here and cry all day again like I did on Thursday.
So I did go in today and the RE saw no growth, no response. Today's appt felt like several years ago when that male RE told me Clomid, Femara is not going to work for me. I was still puzzled about why it did before & as sweetly as she possibly could she told me well it isn't working now so it's time to be more aggressive. Now Ladies, after this last incident I still have faith in God but I just can't do the total optimism anymore (at least not right now) but I told her that we can't afford injectibles. Guess what? She's going to donate some to me (at least for once cycle). As bad as I feel, that is still a blessing & I thank God for that. So the plan is to take Provera to bring on AF by mid-March and start Bravelle.
So I guess I'm not in the Femara group anymore. I'll still lurk & check on u all. Thanks for being there for me! Good luck to you all!
Patrice

Patrice-I'm glad that you were able to get some donated meds. I know how huge that is as somebody donated some to me for this current cycle I'm doing. On the flip side, though, big hugs to you for not having a goo response with the femara. I know this won't make you feel better but the injections are really not that bad. Even if you accidently hit a small blood vessel, it still doesn't hurt. AFter a while you'll get to know your skin and which areas are the best to inject at.

lonnie-I agree! Great pic.

Btrflybeetle-I don't think it is super common. I googled all sorts of informaiton on the progesterone suppositories. It's one of those "can happen but aren't worrisome" type of side effects. It said to tell your doctor only if it becomes bothersome or you develop persistent vomiting. In the past I only took 100mg twice a day. Now I'm on 200mg twice a day which I think is why I'm having a tougher time.

ttcsarah-Enjoy your day off!

Kim-surprisingly I have been able to hold off poas. I'm waiting til Thursday. It's mostly cuz I really don't feel "positive" about this month as our timing wasn't ideal.

NiseFLRN-Welcome back!

myherstory-Just wanted to send you a bunch of hugs. I'm so sorry about everything you're dealing with.

I'm not poas til Thursday. My lil sister just left today and I was so sad.

She knows that we're TTC and asks a lot of questions about it. It's actually really therapeutic to even just show her the meds and needles and explain to her what we do. I really hope she won't have to deal with this as I think it would be even harder for her to cope with. Anyway, just wanted to say hello to all!

Hi, Everyone! DH and I had a great time on our weekend getaway. However, I wasn't super excited about returning to work. (LOL)

Kary05: What a nice surprise to receive a visit from your sister. Good luck on your test Thursday. I hope you get that BFP!

Redhead: Your DH sounds like mine, I mean with the romantic stuff. It's nice to have those fun surprises, especially in the midst of all this infertility stuff. I've had a lot of weird symptoms that I am trying to hard not to "read into". Things like occasional shooting twinges in my BB's, especially my right BB; cramping, extreme tiredness and moodiness. I figure the last two symptoms are from the prometrium. Do you test Wednesday?

My first beta is Thursday. I plan to POAS that morning so I am not surprised when the nurse give me the news that afternoon.

Hello!

lonnie - that is a great pic! Makes me wish I was there right now instead of sitting at my desk. Also, glad that you are feeling better...the flu really has been kicking butt this year. I know so many people that have been out of it for weeks because of it. I am knocking on wood that my flu shot helps me through it.

patrice - glad you are feeling better about your situation.

kary - How exciting that your husband arranged for your sis to fly in for a visit. All the things that we have to go through with fertility treatments it is nice to have some awesome distractions. Good Luck with POAS...Baby Dust to you!

corey - I have taken Progesterone a few times and did not have nausea. I am sure it is different for everyone. The only symptom I really had with it was my fuse was really short, so I would fly off the handle in a heart beat. I don't know who was more excited about AF arriving me or DH.

Unhappy

I currently just finished my second round of Femara 2X dailey x 8 days. Last cycle was 2x dailey x 5 days and progesterone came back at .2.(that is not a typo!) I am really frustrated and would love a buddy to chat with!

Patrice- That is a beautiful baby!! I'm not going to tell you not to feel what you are feeling- that would be useless and uncaring. I just want you to remember something... your feelings are always real, but they are not always true. I know that sometimes journaling helps me look at my thoughts objectively. It's not something you have to do everyday, just when you need to clarify your thoughts. This may not work for you, but I was just thinking of something that has helped me. If you would like to pm me I'd be happy to talk with you- not because I have all the answers- just cause I've been there as well.

So, I got a call from the Dr. and they said my numbers were excellent- 20? And they would wait to hear from me regarding the outcome. I assume this means that my numbers mean I o'd and they are waiting to see if af arrives. Is this correct?

Thanx for all your kind words, I appreciate every word. It really helps to know that there are other women who understand. Thanx for being so supportive.

Well, today is cd32, 9dpiui, no AF! I took my temp and it was 97.7 first, I took it again right away and it was 98.0(which is what it has been)... so I dunno what to think about that!

Patrice - that's really great that you're going to get the injectables! Sorry this cycle didn't work out, but best of luck next cycle! I move onto injectables next month If this IUI is a failure. I'm a little afraid of what its like, don't really know what to expect. I guess I'll know at the end of the week after my BETA.

TTCSarah - sorry about the BFN - big hugs! I can relate with how you feel.

Eeyoredja - glad you're feeling better! Good luck this cycle.

NiseFLRN - good luck with your U/S wednesday!!

Ljlarsen - glad you and DH are feeling better! Seems to be going around! Awesome pic btw! Looks like it was beautiful!

Hudsonrybicki - thanx for your kind words too. I am feeling a bit better. it's because you all rock!

kary05 - thanx for the hugs. I to feel it helps to explain to people about the meds and such. Good luck with your test thursday!

Chambergirl - gl with your HSG on thursday!

Best of luck to all you laides with your cycles, whichever cd you're on!

MyHerstory-Good luck this cycle. I know your frustration about pretending to be happy everyday and the moment your not people make those stupid comments. I have been ttc for 12 years and "it will happen when the time is right" is way past due. Keep your head up and it is ok to rant when needed, how else are we expected to get through this IF mess. I had a couple other choice words for what it is.

CD 16 and not sure if I o'd or not cm has been weird. I did have the ovary pains for a few days so I don't know. My temp has been all over the place so I don't know how FF is going to make head or tails out of it.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!
