Hello everyone I have a question. My Dr gave me a prescription for femara but only at 2.5mg the last time i took it i took it at 5mg and i got pregnant the 2 time i took it now i worried that it might not work because it was a higher dose last time. I am quite upset about this because i told my dr thats what i took it at last time and thats what worked.

Did your doc give a reason for the lower dose?

No and thats what has made me so mad I told his nurse that before i took 5mg and she was like ok. And thats all that was said they wrote my prescrip and sent me on my way.

It does not even matter anymore with god on my side I know anything is possible. And he is never wrong.

i also got pregnant with 5mg but my doctor wanted me to start with 2.5mg since people's bodies can change and he wanted to start with the lowest dose since there is a fine line between stimulating ovulation and overstimulating... are you getting a test to see if you ovulated so she can up it to 5mg if you don't ovulate with the 2.5mg?

No they gave me the meds and told me to keep them posted. I guess I will just call them if my period does not start again on its own... Ant then maybe he will up the dose. Even this time he only gave me 10 mg of provera for 7 days when usely he gives it to me for ten days its been 8 days since my last provera pills and my period has not started yet. Today I had some strong cramping so I am hoping that it will start soon.
